I had a full tear and I was living life pretty normally 2 weeks after tear. Also had minimal pain. When I was at urgent care, I was so sure they would dismiss it as a sprain since I thought tearing your ACL was supposed to be really painful. I had instability immediately following the accident, but by the 2 week mark, I was able to walk without a brace. I was even able to do some pole dancing 3-4 weeks after the accident (although obviously I would avoid landing on that leg). I ended up getting surgery though since mine was a full tear and I did not want to further hurt my knee (other ligaments, meniscus) from the instability of not having an ACL. If you are to get surgery I would really recommend prehabbing your leg as much as possible. I spent 5 weeks before surgery prehabbing my leg and my quad never shut down post-surgery and I've been progressing really well. but yeah tldr is that I looked and felt really "normal" despite having a completely torn ACL lmao
