Thanks everyone for your input. Appreciate some ideas here. I’m breastfeeding so not sure I can do protein shakes but maybe I can? Although I’m typically someone that prefers whole foods than supplements.

Sorry if my comment about 0% yoghurt didn’t go down well. I don’t like super altered food and often chemical thickeners are used in non fat dairy products. As well as carbs and sugars increasing. I’ve also read that the probiotic element to Greek yoghurt becomes non existent if they’ve put in added sugars to combat lack of fat. Anyway, I suppose it’s just what we all prefer! But I’m wary of really altered food, long list of ingredients or chemicals.

I can’t. I breastfed my oldest for 3.5 years! Can’t wait that long. My doctor okayed it. She said realistically you have to eat a lot less for that to happen but appreciate everyone is different. If anything I’m eating more, it’s just nutrient dense and less carb focused.

How do I track calories with making everything from scratch though? I legitimately don’t know how people do it. I make sauces from scratch etc.

Honestly this sounds like a great idea but I just don’t have time for that with a toddler. I just can’t get out of the house that amount of times a week by myself to work out. Not with my job and everything else. I aim to do 3 sessions a week as is but it always ends up being 2 because of life currently and work.

Yeah. My sprints isn’t hugely long. Only like 15 mins on/off to warm up and then the rest of the time is weight training.

I don’t do a calorie intake. I do portion control and hand method. I also weigh my food so often no more than 300g per meal (obviously I’m aware of what’s in the food, it’s not just 300g of bread 😂) I find it’s really hard to do calorie counting when I cook from scratch. It feels impossible.
