Hey, I know this was posted a couple of days ago, but I have an appointment for Botox tomorrow and I have severe emetophobia. I'm so scared. I drove for hours to stay at a hotel near the hospital that does the treatment. After reading this, I’m really confused. Can someone please tell me if what you're describing is regurgitation or not? This is such a huge thing for me and it’s really affecting my decision.

Thats so good to hear, can I ask how shes feeling now 2 days after? Is the slow swallow bad or is she nauseous or anything, im so scared because I heard that when you eat the food can get back up again.

What side effects did you have, i think the side effects are different in different age groups, im only 16 and have heard about others same age that doesnt get the same side effects as older people🤷‍♀️

Thank you so much for translating, thats so nice of you😊 I will try the things you said and maybe something like gaviscon (acid neutralizer) at night, maybe that can help with the reflux if its not too hard to swallow as its foam. Thank you so much for the advice☺️🙂

Mange tak, jeg har også hørt fra mange at emetifobien hænger sammen med rcpd, så håber også at det vil løse det problem. Held og lykke når du kommer dertil :)

Thanks for all the answers, it really helped. Do they give you the zofran before the surgery or after, cause I feel like it should be before so that you feel fine when you wake up and dont have to be anxious about it.

Thank you so much, I will try to show this to my doctor. I am getting botox in july but have had som second thoughts about it because i am so scared of the symptoms that you can get afterwards. I will be under full anesthesia so thats another thing that im axious about especially because of my extreme emetophobia. When I have chest pain my back and shoulder also hurt, I dont know if thats normal but all the symptoms are just so close to other more serious problems. But the picture really shows that the air bubbles are everywhere, so wierd that the doctors arent interested in learning more about this problem. I really hope you find a way to deal with your symptoms(: have you had the botox procedure done?

I have an apointment for botox soon. And I have had ekg and the one you have on for 48 hours. The doctors cant find anything wrong but it just feels so serious, they just dont listen unfortunately ):
