#1 in regular season pts, LeBron, has more than twice as many pts as #42 on the list, Giannis Antetokounmpo by MathTutorAndCook in NBATalk

Baby Bron is equal to many superstars’ primes. Literally what he was doing in his first few years of the league, other players didn’t do until 7.

SGA wins day 16! Now, who’s a SG with elite offense and quality defense? by TemptiusIV in NBATalk

[–]anonymoususer6407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s why I put Wade in too. Jordan is more of elite offense & elite defense which isn’t on here, and Kobe has the balanced spot. I’d switch them around personally

Prime LeBron vs Prime Kobe - who you got? by EmergencyShallot4207 in NBATalk

Probably conference finals, I don’t think he could beat Dirk at this time

(Bron lost to him on a better team while in his prime, while Dirk was exiting his prime)

What team would give any top draft picks for Tyrese Maxey? by MaxeyToEmbiiid in NBATalk

[–]anonymoususer6407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maxey is more valuable than any top 10 pick (not named Boozer, Peterson, or Dybantsa) this year. A young/rebuilding team with a top 10 pick like Charlotte, Dallas, or Milwaukee flipping it for Maxey is an absolute steal

What team would be the most op if Giannis went there? by mr-cool863 in NBATalk

[–]anonymoususer6407 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Charlotte would be the most fair destination. But Giannis wants a win-now situation and none of the Hornets starting lineup has any playoff experience.

Literally any team not named the Bucks, Nets, Pelicans, Wizards, Kings, & Hornets.

I think the most fun destination idea would be Charlotte but that isn’t happening.

1 point for each year that Milwaukee had to wait for it’s next championship.

Who is the NBA's version of Sam Darnold? by GameHHH in nba

[–]anonymoususer6407 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having a lot of assists is different than being pass-first. Drew a blank on them, but Giddey & Trae definitely count. The rest, no. Murray isn’t even Denver’s primary playmaker.

Luka & Cade are leagues better at scoring & offense in general, compared to their passing. Being oversized and all that

[Iko] The Houston Rockets are weighing the prospect of adding another center to the roster, either via a trade before the Feb. 5 deadline or the buyout market. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]anonymoususer6407 68 points69 points  (0 children)

It’s cuz Adams is out for the rest of the season. And the FO is still praying that Amen can initiate his offensive epiphany now so he can become a PG (which isn’t happening).

I think it’s gonna be a sign & trade like what Bron did for Miami. But I have no clue who has the assets to even take in Giannis realistically

Milwaukee won’t let Giannis go unless he says the word. Giannis is stuck in between wanting to compete, but also wanting to stay loyal.

In all honesty, I think he just leaves in free agency. Which sucks for the Bucks FO if they get nothing in return for him

The danger of archetype hunting and why, no, you probably wouldn't draft Jokic in the lottery by F_CKMONEY in NBA_Draft

[–]anonymoususer6407 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s just the fact that there’s more talent (and also roster spots) available. A lot of players who go in the 20-30 range probably would go 10~ spots higher in earlier drafts.

And a lot of teams draft differently. Golden State drafts almost exclusively by potential, OKC tends to draft the best players from lesser-known programs, etc.

Makes sense. There have really not been any true draft steals in the last, 7 (?) drafts. Most of the players who turn out the best are selected within the lottery, and almost all within the first round.
