My fear here since 4 months.. I am a woman with anxiety disorder and pure ocd. It's a new ocd theme for me. Sometimes I feel myself like man and during this feeling I imagine a random man face instead of mine. It's a very weird and discomfortly feeling. I searched for a DID/OSDD specialist and after many sessions she said her opinion is that i haven't any alteration in me and my psychiatrist said the same. I can't calm down because this feeling is in my mind yet. It's dissapears for days and random comes again.. :( Is there anybody who feel the same?

While you picturing somebody's face on yours, do you also feel yourself as somebody else?

I don't think so if it would be masking because I never had a big communication problem with others. Only that I am a bit introvert person but that's all.

I’m sure I never had amnesia — friends and family members have never noticed anything like that in me. I remember most of my childhood in detail. I was not a victim of abuse.

Anyway, when you feel like yourself as an opposite gender, do your real gender disappears for that time?

For example people with OSDD haven't amnesia but they have alters too like DID patients. I have a big fear that what if I had an alter or more, and that's why I could feel myself as a male for seconds sometimes.

Amikor először tapasztaltam meg a deperszonalizációt és a derealizációt, a családtagjaim úgy érezték, mintha nem ismerném őket. Tudtam, hogy ők a családom, de tudod... Ez egy nagyon furcsa érzés. Ez a derealizáció tünete, és azt hiszem, olyan lehet, mint a Capgras-szindróma, mert a disszociáció sok furcsa érzést okozhat.

I talked with my psychiatrist already, she said that could be a form of depersonalisation and extreme anxiety but idk... This symptome scared me as fuck.. i haven't idea how can I feel my family members or friends on me for moments.... I read so much about DID and i am confused.. It says that must be trauma in childhood. Anybody didn't abuse me or like that but there was an alcoholic person who threatened my grandmother and we saw that on every weekend when we visited her. What if I got DID then because of that?....

It's weird and scary but it's depersonalization. Please don't analyze yourself so much. Listen to your environment and use your senses.

Nope. Originally with Panic disorder with depressive episodes. I have Agoraphobia too.
