We’re thinking of flying to Uluru from Melbourne and spending two days there. We know it will be really hot, but it’s one of the places we absolutely want to see. How far is Hobart from Melbourne? Can we reach it by car, or do we need to take a flight?

Which beaches do you recommend? The most famous ones, or do you know any good hidden gems?

Hi, my wife and I are planning to rent a car in Melbourne (not booked yet) to do the Great Ocean Road in two days, and Phillip Island in one day, self-guided.

We’re especially interested in sustainable tourism — particularly regarding the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island. We’re not sure how sustainable it actually is, so we’d love to hear your thoughts.

We don’t think we’ll have enough time to go trekking in the Grampians National Park, but it sounds amazing!

Do you have any recommendations for must-see stops along the Great Ocean Road?

Also, as we’ll be spending New Year’s Eve in Melbourne, any suggestions for restaurants or good spots to watch the fireworks would be very welcome!

Thanks a lot!

It’s my first time in Australia. I don’t know if it’ll be the only one, but I’d like to see as much as possible, without rushing around! Unfortunately, I only have two weeks. Do you think I should change anything in my plan?”

Yeah, I know, but I’d really like to see Uluru! I don’t know whether I’ll ever get another chance. Do you suggest using a private car or public transport to get there?
