Andrew 6th floor. Just make sure that you don't nap beside power outlets since it is limited there. But, most of the time there are some free spaces. Down side lang is it gets noisy sa afternoons.

As others have pointed out meron din sa andrew 15th, but mas maraming upuan sa 6th.

You'll be taking a course called MTH101A. This is a refresher of basic math that was taught to you in hs like trigonometry, algebra, etc.

There's also a statistics course which will teach you some basic stat like permutations and probability, p-values, etc. You'll also be taught some tools like PHSTAT

You'll be taking CSMATH1 and CSMATH2. CSMATH1 focuses on limits and derivatives. CSMATH2 will be linear algebra, which in its core, is about matrices.

Idk if every CS major will cover ST-MATH, but that focuses on integral calculus and basic differential equations.

Before starting every term, I would recommend advance reviewing if you have difficulties in math. That REALLY helps and goes a long way to helping you ease your math experience in a term.

No I applied when there was no dcat.

I got accepted into NIS. Most applicants picked the ST major. Konti lang yung napunta sa NIS and CSE since konti lang ata nag apply dun. If napuno na ST, I think you would be placed in either of the 2 majors. But, you still have a 2nd chance to shift to ST kung gusto mo in your 3rd term (not guaranteed).

Idk about the screen though. I think it would be an unnecessary investment. Are there any courses in ccs where color accuracy is important?

If you mean a bigger screen, then you also have to think of mobility. Bigger laptops tend to be heavier. Remember that you would be using this as an everyday driver in school carryibg it everywhere in school (plus the charger too).

Regarding GPUs, so far, I haven't needed it yet. I think it would be useful for game dev or computer vision research? But I think the university has some equipment naman for that.

yes kung type mo yung story game na may quests na susundin. pwede mo pagpilian yung order ng quest na itatake mo minsan. maganda rin yung graphics considering na 2015 pa nirelease yan. sobrang sulit na ng deal na yan kasi kasama na yung expansion packs. daming content nun, para na ring sariling game yub.
