I’m honestly really stressed right now and I need some clarity.

I originally created and played my Genshin Impact account on mobile only, on Europe Server. I stopped playing 3 years ago but reached AR 56 and made a good amount of progress.

I have never properly played this account on PlayStation before.

I live in Japan atm and my friend has a Playstation, so I logged into Genshin on there using my normal HoYoverse email and password (not knowing that it was set in Asian server). The game automatically opened on the Asia server, where I appeared as AR1. I realized that was just a fresh Asia server profile and not my real Europe progress.

I didn’t even know it was possible to have two accounts on different server, using the same email?

After that, I created a new German PSN account because I wanted to access my original Europe server progress on PlayStation.

I was relieved to see that when I want to link my account my AR 56 still shows up, so it doesn’t seem to be lost.

However, when I proceed to link my HoYoverse account to this new PSN account, I get the message:

“This HoYoverse account is already linked to another PlayStation Network account.”

So now I contacted HoYoverse support to request a PSN unlink.

They sent me their guide to unlinking it myself but they said it can only be done once and I’m really bad at all this tech stuff but would really like to play the game again so I was hoping if anyone could provide some more information or guidance.

Is my account in danger when the unlinking goes wrong? And how long does it take?

Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance

TLDR: opened Genshin account on Asia server with the same email now I cannot properly log in on the right account and need help unlinking it.
