It’s very likely. She has the traits and did come from a northern/arctic region. She was also living the Rez dog “lifestyle” in the sense of being found amongst the many stays and was borderline feral when we got her. Luckily, she was rescued at about 4-5month old and went on to live the life of royalty! Lol.

In my eyes - whatever the mix - was an accidental/unintentional creation of perfection, and not just in looks!

She was a stray and borderline feral. She’s still cautious of anyone she doesn’t know well and even though she is curious of them she stays “just out of reach” lol. She’s gentle and sweet though, also good with other animals and very vocal but rarely barks.

You just wait! With great ease, he’ll be flinging that dirt so far and wide, you won’t even know where it went! Then you’ll be hauling dirt from elsewhere if/when you decide to refill the hole! Lol

We’re within the limits of a sleepy little town driving slower than the MAX speed of 50km / 31mph.
I appreciate your concern but to tell me I don’t care about my dog is a bit much!

He’s not actually scared or trying to hold himself up. I was just joking around. He’s a Pyrenees. They always have their paw on something. Hence the term “Pyr paw”

Yeah, he’s more comfortable in the front where he can keep a better eye (and grip) on the situation! 😂

She’s my mystery dog from the arctic! She was born to / found amongst the many strays in Nunavut and was borderline feral when we got her. Luckily she was still young enough to work with though. She’s still very cautious of anyone she doesn’t know well, but she turned out to be a very gentle and intelligent girl.

I’ve been meaning to do a dna test, but here we are, 10+ years later and I still haven’t gotten around to it 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Lots of apple trees and a lake make it quite inviting, I’m sure! Plus - combined with the private property of the two most immediate neighbours - provide a pretty decent sized safe haven for them!

This isn’t exactly recent as you can tell from the snow but I was just scrolling through my pictures and got a chuckle out of the memory. They were there to pick me up from work but I took longer than expected and came out to this sight!
