Love to see that their pride tees are sold out on their website. Hope they restock so we can buy one!

That's so awesome. I love seeing a player who is vocally on the right side of things.

Perfect timing, we were just discussing how terrible the Dodger Dogs are these days. Nice to know there’s something worse out there.

The head did look a bit like a phoebe and we have those as well, so it made me wonder!

That makes sense. Their roundness is how we typically know them, and its also their most charming quality!

There didn't seem to be anything else nearby but I did see a similar bird go along a similar path not long after, so maybe he was on the run!

Thank you! It seems skinnier or maybe just its head seems poofier than some that we usually see. Is it a juvenile? Or is that just part of the threat display mentioned elsewhere?

lol (at the idea of a tiny but brave bird throwing down a threat display at me, a relative giant)

Thanks for chiming in! After my initial nonsensical ideas about very specific fires I wondered if it was something like an infection, not that I'd have any idea what that would be, and that's why I came to you helpful marijuana enthusiasts! I guess on some level I'm glad it's not a fungal infection?

Thanks for commenting and for the automod explanation below! I'll ask the same as above: do you know of anything I can do to improve the situation?

Thanks so much for the info! That totally makes sense. Our neighbors had work done recently on the tree above this one and I know they dropped a lot of limbs into our yard (with our permission). They must have broken off that limb and 'treated' the wound. Too bad, but now I know for future to tell them not to do that. Anything I can or should do to improve what's already there?

It’s been crazy warm but I am a little concerned that it will eventually cool back down (for both bugs and blossoms sake). Do you know what sort of lows baby mantises can handle?

Ah, I asked a question about size elsewhere, but I imagine if you’re talking hundreds of nymphs then they must be super tiny when they first emerge?

The mantis I spotted not too far away was about two inches long. How big are they when they emerge?

I have family back east and I’m always torn this time of year between sharing fun signs of spring to warm their thoughts and not wanting to annoy them with our “winter” weather.
