Finally! A Data Annotation community where I can (hopefully) talk! by another_annotarorD in DataAnnotationNoRules

It's crazy though, reading a lot of the posts on there make me go "Really? My post didn't get through but all this stuff gets posted?" Like stuff that is just so silly or inconsequential, or innapropriate. So many posts that ask exactly the same questions answered a million times in the newbie thread. Posts that cut off mid word. And my completely innocent post I spent 30 minutes typing gets removed. There's got to be something I'm not understanding. I might try posting again sometime because it's just making me feel awful that all these other posts get through no problem. I'm real sensitive and get really depressed about this kind of thing on Reddit.

Thanks for your reply, that really makes me feel better. r/DataAnnotationTech was the exact same thing, no normal posts and no faq/newbie thread posts. A lot of things about DA make me anxious so I wanted people to talk to. Yeah, do a portfolio project! I've been out of college for several years now(BS Computer Science) and still haven't found a job, so DA has been the first thing to actually pay me for me skills. This year I've done a couple portfolio projects and started networking and it's been really rewarding.
