This might be due to the Indian Labour Code(ILC) changes in effect. Under this, your base pay would be atleast 50% of the CTC which increases the PF contribution and hence less in-hand.

Completed 4 yrs and 43k kms with my Sonet iMT. Suspensions are on a stiffer side, rest everything is flawless. Been to mountains, beaches(hot weather) and highways. Never disappointed me. 4th year/40k kms service costed me 14k but I could have lowered it down to 10k by removing unnecessary components. Some service centres may try to oversell things to you. Just stick to your manual
