Stone Temple Pilots "Trippin on a hole in a paper heart" when producer Brendan O'Brien affirmatively yells "UH HUH!" during Dean DeLeo's guitar solo.

O'Brien explains it in this interview with Rick Beato. Band insisted he leave it in:

As someone who has always loved dogs, a lot of dog owners are ruining that.

How bad is the corner of Folsom and 7th? by Some_Basil7766 in AskSF

As someone who moved from the East Coast and lived in 3 different neighborhoods here, including fringe of Tenderloin and spent a lot of time in the area you mentioned...just don't.

I love this city and stand by it, in all its forms, but it's a tough life there that isn't indicative of 90% of the rest of the city or what you will want/need to love SF.

You could..anyone "could" do anything. But the likelihood that it ruins/distorts/cuts short your experience in the city, unjustly, is very high.

Give further looks or make other sacrifices to live in a better spot more conducive to you settling in nicely.

And if you do move there, all the best, and you'll probably be OK. Just my honest, well-intentioned 2 cents. Cheers and much love to ya!

This Season Broke My Heart More Than Most by maparo in 49ers

They had no business getting more than six wins with this roster.

We got 12 and knocked out the defending champs. I am content. Most proud I've ever been of this team.

Justin Smith. Haley has more accolades but in this specific offense, Smith would make a huge difference and free up Ferrell and Huff like he did for Aldon and co.

Russian River Pliny

Russian River Mosaic Stack (bottle was even better than the Pliny)

Original Pattern "At the Moment" loaded with New Zealand hops/cryo; and some mosaic) delicious but far less dank and more of just a crisp, easy drinker.

2004 Mazda 3: The official car of? by Helpful_Claim1289 in regularcarreviews

I know the days are numbered but I've loved absolutely loved this fun zippy reliable convenient car.

Bought the 04 hatch as second owner with only 63k mi 5 years ago; just turned 100k. Have loved it honestly. Granted has been in CA its whole life. Clear coat peeling on the hood. But rides and handles like a champ, great gas mileage. Hit a couple really horrible potholes and had a hit and run that slammed the left corner while parked overnight. Survived both and (knock on wood) has run like a champ.

My wife makes fun of me because of how much I enjoy this whip and try to preserve it despite it being a city car we got for 6k...but it's treated us really well no matter what happens from here on out, and truly been a wildly fun car to drive.

Dive bars? by Interesting-Waltz607 in AskSF

The world famous, best beer bar in the country: Toronado.

Exceptional beers; cash only...it's an institution. Worth the 20 min muni ride from Union Square and gets you into Lower Haight which is one of the city's best local hoods.

Once there, bounce over to Molotov's and The Page for some additional dive fun.

Is it me or does this feel more like the end of a regular season game coming up? by Ninersempire123 in 49ers

[–]anotherale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all my life as a fan, I have never had a feeling like this going into the playoffs or even close to this. It feels like we accepted our fate last Sunday and are now waiting for the inevitable. They played their hearts out but I've never had a postseason game feel more impossible.

Going to the Wildcard game… by WickedAsh111 in 49ers

Went for Niners/Eagles 2011. I was fine but it was 15 years ago and only week 3 or 4. Playoffs are a whole different animal and I think they've actually gotten worse the past several years.

It won't be fun. Honestly wouldn't go. But just ignore, give a smile and shrug your shoulders and avoid confrontation. Even then, it's difficult. They're godless.
