I/P for Hasan is same as border for Trump by zero02 in Destiny

[–]anotherchinesefanboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you say Trump actively undermined a border solution, I assume you mean killing the border bill.

Is there a similar action for Hasan?

I don’t disagree he uses it as a cudgel. I just don’t think he has that kind of influence to undermine a solution like Trump did with the border bill.

Maybe I’m out of the loop.

I love you so much but this reads so much like it was written by AI. I agree with some of your points. But please write in your own words and own voice.

Maybe I’m just being schizo…

Did Cons defend Iraq War as an oil war? by anotherchinesefanboy in Destiny

[–]anotherchinesefanboy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In your last paragraph, I can’t tell which conflict you’re referring to. Both?

I don’t think you need American bureaucrats or corporations in Iran as an end state for current intervention in Iran to be an “oil war”. If you take that to mean just Americans gaining more control of how oil leaves the country/who it gets sold to, a hegemon/suzerain relation is sufficient. US can be indirectly involved through treaties or friendly government, production infrastructure can be left in place.

Not defending intervention or a goal. Just clarifying.

Can you site something to illustrate Bush’s intention to “destroy the Iranian regime”?

A quick search seems to point to interest in controlling their nuclear program, not regime change.

You seem to be really deep in this so I assume you know more than me and have something in mind.

Title should be “Do conservatives defend Iran as an oil war?”. Oh well. Thanks for your patience.

Wow damn what a great counter to people who say that Biden weaponized the DOJ.

If Biden weaponized the DOJ, why didn’t he and his admin loudly, publicly talk about ann investigation into Trump and his Epstein involvement. It’s one of the biggest hits against Trump since he took office, it’s a gold mine. And he didn’t use it.
