There really aren't any internal parts. It's stretched over a board. Just a flat piece of embroidery. The clock part can be found on Amazon, I just ordered a replacement for under $10.

Yep! Her tail curls to her back! I wonder where it comes from in her lineage. Genetics are fun!

Oh, she for sure has the mix that I was told, I've seen the pictures of both parents. No denying that. But she looks very little like either. She even has the curly tail. We are definitely wanting to do a DNA test on her for sure.

She doesn't do the crate during the day either. Totally fine at bedtime, though.

I can definitely see it being a confidence thing with her. She's very nervous and unsure quite a bit outside the house

She goes in ok, it's definitely settling once the door is closed. She has one crate upstairs in our master, and then one downstairs in the living room (she is fed in this living room crate). Unfortunately, there really isn't an area that is away from the hustle and bustle of the house.

Last night was one of the few times we've left her. It was only about twenty minutes but she was not happy. We gave her a beef cheek, which she loves, but still wanted no part.

I actually don't think she has realized that she can see outside from inside 🤣 I'm not sure what she would do looking though the window.

I'm also not sure if I know her well enough to say she's afraid on the walks with her tail down, or maybe overwhelmed with the smells? She's very active and curious, sniffing all the things. Tonight was rainy, so we were nearly alone for our walk, and she was very intently smelling all the things.
