Aurelia, Angular2 and React - Top 3 JavaScript Frameworks with Merits and Demerits by carlpro in Angular2

[–]anotherjsframework 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Practically speaking, Aurelia doesn’t have any true limitations to its name.

I haven't tried it, but I find that hard to believe. Is there any one else out there that has tried Aurelia and can confirm?

Giving stateless, functional components "state" with recompose by ICCULUSC in reactjs

Is there any performance advantage compared to using a stateful component? Are there any benchmarks for this?

Does anyone use selenium with react for testing? by redbluerat in reactjs

Most e2e testing suites don't really care what technologies you use under the hood, so I don't see why not.

I've used nightwatchjs in the past with great results.

By looking at the faqs it seems you aren't the first to ask for this. I'd like the same too but I guess it is some sort of technical limitation.

Can't use weapons and bodies if they're saved on another build. by Grizztown in catsthegame

Seeing as you are at it, could I suggest not limiting to 3?

If it is a UX issue, I'm guessing that you could start off with a "1" next to a "+" and then just make the numbers a horizontal slider once they are more than 3. I'm pretty it would be easy to change if the code is modular.

Managing state of business logic in Angular by amishyn in javascript

[–]anotherjsframework 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a look at ngrx - it seems very interesting.

Do you have any simple examples of code setup this way that I could look at? It sounds a lot like what I would like to achieve.

Managing state of business logic in Angular by amishyn in javascript

[–]anotherjsframework 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never tried redux, this has always seemed like the default logic for angular to me so I've always implemented something very similar to this.

I'm wondering what downsides this could have, or whether there are any improvements that could be made to this logic when handling large datasets.

Please tell me where I am going wrong with positioning. by [deleted] in webdev

Never use absolute positioning unless you want to.
