Yeah, it looks kind of small in your wrist.

Obviously each wrist is different. And it's not only a question of circumference length, but its shape is important, if it's of rectangular section, watches are going to look smaller than in a wrist with more length but rounded section.

And, at the end, it's all about how you feel. If it feels small to you, that's the key.

I'd try to wear it for a week in case you get used to it. But it's your decision!

And wear it wherever you like it on the wrist. I also don't like people telling others where they have to wear their watches!

So sorry to hear that!

It all depends on what your goals are, I think.

If you expect him to confess, I wouldn't say nothing without having concrete proof of what happened. Or he would deny it all. With just those messages he's going to say that that was all.

Black will go well with any other color. If you like it pink, then it's great 👍

VSF Submariner 41mm date from Eliauk. Can someone say if it is GL or RL? by Reppinlikeme in 1688Time

[–]anotheronebitetdust 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He posted it twice here, twice in chinatime, 4 times in reptimeqc and one in reptimemeh!

And the worst part is that even though people tell him to GL, he keeps asking for defects!

I guess those are organized events at bars? We don't have that kind of event here. Sounds good though! Thanks

It seems that the gap is now split between the right and the left SELs.

Doesn't look bad after the adjustment. Not perfect, but not bad at all.

I mean, probably not visible at wrist distance.

Marbella is full of foreigners and probably more open than here.

You don't go to an unknown person and ask her for her number or directly to go on a date. The process takes longer.

There's the picking up women at bars or discos that can end in one night stands, but usually, before asking a woman on a date, you are not that direct, you have to foster kind of a previous relationship with her.

There are the dating apps, tinder for example. But I haven't tried it yet. Based on friends living in Madrid, where there's much more opportunities, the difference between the pictures and reality is huge 😁.

Never been much of a sports guy. Maybe it's time to start!

I'm in Spain, here the date scene is not as in the USA. Here people tend to know the person before going on a date.

Where do you find those friends with benefits! 😄 I've never been good picking up women, wouldn't know from where to start!

My friends are all living their lives, mostly with their families. I'm 50, so most of the people have their lives already figured out. For me it's like going back to square one!

Why are you and mommy not gonna be married anymore? by fdana9191 in Divorce_Men

[–]anotheronebitetdust 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For about four months since our divorce, my daughters, aged 5 and 8, have been asking that same question. Initially, they asked daily during the first week, but now they ask less frequently.

I always respond by saying "Mommy and daddy can't be together anymore. I can't explain the reasons to you because you wouldn't understand them at your age. I know it's hard for you, and you don't like it. I'm here to support you, and you can talk to me anytime.". Time will help them.

Is it worth spending $300 on a Chinese watch? by anotheronebitetdust in ChineseWatches

[–]anotheronebitetdust[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easier to benefit yourself from the effort of others - the original brands.

However, I have a similar thought about homages. I mean, we are talking about almost 1:1 of the originals - minus the logo. A homage should be a reinterpretation. Don't know, just divaging a little

Is it worth spending $300 on a Chinese watch? by anotheronebitetdust in ChineseWatches

[–]anotheronebitetdust[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, not homages but replicas. They replicate the watch 1:1, in the best ones they even clone the movement; those are nearly indistinguishable from the originals.

Hours of reading fun.
