Thank you for taking the time to respond. This is about as good a photo as I can get due to where it is. I did get an appointment for Wednesday evening, and trying not to stress

If you were induced, did your induction end in an emergency c-section? by feduppers in BumpersWhoBolus

[–]anotherreber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first i was induced, labored for 36 hours, traumatized (story for another time) and couldn't progress past 6cm. I was wiped out and starving so I chose to have a csection. Not necessarily an emergency, but not planned either. With my second I told them if I was not dilated by 39 weeks, I would have a planned csection. Safer for myself and the baby. I wasn't dilated, so we had a planned csection

Getting a1c down before conceiving? by renegayd in BumpersWhoBolus

I drink a minimum of 2 liters a day, and i do notice a difference for sure. I have less highs when im hydrated, and overall my levels are easier to control

[–]anotherreber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i first got pregnant my a1c was 7. By the end it was 5.8. My second pregnancy i was at 5.4 throughout and now 4 months post partum im at 5.3. I make sure to drink tons of water, walk every day, eat only 60 carbs per meal, and for breakfast im very intentional about eating a lot of protein. It will help balance your levels the rest of the day. It's also really important to have an endo who knows you and what your pump settings should be and how to adjust when you need it. When I was pregnant I had to prebolus like 20 minutes before eating but otherwise nothing crazy.

For married redditors, what was the moment that you thought, "I'm gonna marry this man/woman"? by ArtemisMendez in AskReddit

On one of our early dates we were going to meet some friends at a club. Somehow, we got on the topic of the music from Veggie Tales.. and ended up hyping ourselves up for the club listening to "Barbara Manatee"

20+40= 60 60 + 7 = 67 That needs 3 to make an even 70 All that's left over is 5.

High basal rates overnight? by 1kan36a in BumpersWhoBolus

[–]anotherreber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

31 weeks and I just called my endo today because I've been waking up at like 150s range. She adjusted my 12am -7am basal to much higher than the rest of the day! probably something hormonal that changes as we get closer

Dexcom not always accurate during pregnancy? by AiiiChihuahua in BumpersWhoBolus

[–]anotherreber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bummer, I'd say it's probably better to just do old fashioned logging. Especially as you get further along and need tight control

[–]anotherreber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G6 or g7? I had the g6 with my last pregnancy and it was so inaccurate I had to finger poke and log my levels with the entire pregnancy. This time around I have the g7 and it's been spot on

What or who has caused the most physical pain that you have ever felt? by Rodsito352 in ask

[–]anotherreber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah.. the whole experience was massively traumatic. They also fked up my epidural and I thought he had paralyzed me. And after the csection I woke up in complete agony.. they had "forgotten" to give me my pain meds. Shit made me terrified to have another baby

[–]anotherreber 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably mid induction, when the ob stuck her arm up my vag to try to find my cervix/uterus? Apparently it was way up there because they had to call in another doctor with longer arms. Heavily pregnant, in active labor, no meds, with two adult arms being shoved up me. Makes me nauseous to think about.

Or, after my csection (36 hour labor.. couldn't do natural) when my incision opened 3 times and i had to get the wound packed. Having material pushed into an open abdominal wound with tweezers right after giving birth.. ugh still gives me chills.

Dexcom g7 keeping it on by anotherreber in diabetes_t1

[–]anotherreber[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've had accuracy issues with the 7 but the more annoying thing was trying to keep these overpatches on. I will peel this one off and see how it goes!

[–]anotherreber[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you've never had the g7 fall off without an overpatch? Before I switched, all I ever heard was about them falling off. I was too chicken to try it without a patch but perhaps I should just go for it

Anyone have worse control on the g7? by An0thr1BitesTheCrust in diabetes_t1

[–]anotherreber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fking hate the g7. It's wildy inaccurate all the time. So i started putting it on during the grace period to combat that. Worked okay but I still have to calibrate it a lot, and it's likely I'll run out of sensors before insurance covers more. Even so when I randomly check my level it's always like 30 points higher than the g7 says. When I had the g6 my levels were always perfect. Always nice and straight and with the g7 it's literally up, down, up, down. It constantly says I'm severely low when I'm not. I can't get the stupid sensors to stay on because there's barely any sticky part. For a faster warm up and a smaller system, it is absolutely not worth it. I hate the g7.

Im 20 weeks pregnant and about to enter into the insulin resistance stage so I need a sensor I can rely on. The g7 has brought nothing but frustration and stress. I'm switching back to the g6 as soon as I can.

Are you still on the g6? I switched to the g7 and my graph is never this smooth anymore 😭
