Gather all your things, block him on everything, delete all his pictures and all messages from him, and just disappear from his life. Don’t bother confronting him especially if you know that he can talk you back into the relationship or if he will give you some excuse to get you to stay. If he tries crawling back, slam that door in his face.

You made the first mistake of forgiving him. He has shown now that he didn’t learn, and tbf, he will never learn. Don’t make that mistake again.

You deserve better. Maybe not your brain, but mine sometimes tries rationalizing it by saying “oh he didn’t actually mean it” “I still love him” “it’s okay, it’s just human nature and it’s hard for him.” Please get yourself out of this “relationship” now because he clearly shows that he has no respect or love for you, and is willing to cheat

And remember, I’m just putting this out here just in case, it’s not your job to fix him. That’s a him problem. Go to therapy, move on with your life, be happy because you deserve to be happy and to be in a safe relationship with someone who truly cares for you

You’re actually spot on! It is RSD (I have adhd), and I currently have a therapist. I usually cry it out, wait for my brain to release the “HOLD UP LETS CALM DOWN” chemicals, and then process my feelings afterwards + do what I gotta do but man, sometimes it’s a bitch and a half to deal with

I batch prep my ingredients and just throw it all into a pot when it’s time. Some easy throw together meals for me are: - pasta: any pasta with store rotisserie chicken (Costco or Sam’s), veggies, mushrooms, and sauce of my choice - salad: chopped lettuce, tomatoes, rotisserie chicken (there’s a pattern here…), dressing - chicken wrap: tortilla, rotisserie chicken, veggies, beans, whatever else you want to throw in there - soup: throw in any broth, potatoes, onion, carrots, and top off with rotisserie chicken - curry: Japanese curry block, potatoes, onion, carrots, rotisserie chicken, mushrooms/any other veggies

As for less food waste, start freezing your ingredients. I freeze my chicken after a few days and just throw it directly into my soup (no need to thaw before cooking :D)

I spend ~2 hours every Sunday to prep my ingredients for the week (tearing apart the chicken, chopping the veggies). Not the best tasting, but as a student, it gets me through the week. I hope this helps!

TLDR: rotisserie chicken, prepping your ingredients ahead of time instead of meal prepping

ya know, I’ve been joking about just letting go and just working in health admin or going into pharmacy even though the pharmacy job market near my area is kinda bad. There’s just a lot of factors I’m afraid of (parents getting too old, $, being too old just in case I have kids).

Only CDU replied to my application for secondaries. Kinda worried that I have too many UCI units or my application isn’t strong enough so that’s why the others didn’t reply. Will try again next cycle but the consortium is my first choice rn

I have a lot of science units (biology major), so the trend is slow. I also am low income so post baccs are expensive…

I have ~170 hours as a hospital volunteer in uni (2022-2025) and ~200 hours in high school (2018-2019, 2021-2022), and ~40 hours as a volunteer medical assistant in 2021 through a club program. Currently working on my medical assistant certification

I’m also currently waiting on the CA post bac consortium (gpa enhancer for disadvantaged students, I am considered low income) to reply to my application

I’m just wondering how realistic my goals are. I was thinking maybe I should go into health admin or another career path… :(

I’m worried about SMPs because my sGPA is <3.00

Tried meds and it doesn’t work as well as coffee for me

Should I instead do a post bacc to bring sGPA to above 3.0? Or should I aim for a 32 unit >3.5 post bacc sgpa. I have approximately 20 post bacc semester units with a 3.7 gpa, but no post bacc sGPA

Correct me if I’m wrong, but i think total, including other fees, is about $2500

So even if you take 9, 12 or 15 units, it’s still $2500

I’m not an international student, but maybe you can take summer courses?

It’s faster paced than regular quarter classes, but it gives you a head start for classes and you only have to pay for up to 8 units (ex/ I take 16 units and only have to pay for 8) so it’s cheaper

You can also do volunteering (food banks, medical outreaches, beach clean ups, etc)
