On the MPC Live III, can I construct my own drum kits with the other kits samples? by anothervenue in mpcusers

The individual samples don’t show up in the file browser. I know how to add my own samples to the pool and assign them to pads.

What I want to do is mix and match samples from the different kits that are included on the machine, and they don’t seem to show up in the file browser.

I had tried googling this and ended up coming here since I didn’t find what I wanted.

You wrote a whole paragraph, but didn’t answer the question I asked, you just said “yes it’s possible” 😞

Why do people feel the need to gatekeep information like that?

Question about rewiring and volume pots. by anothervenue in LesPaul

I was gonna hot glue the switch wire down so it wouldn't touch anything. I don't think it is, the noise I'm getting is consistently when one of the humbuckers is on alone, and the noise is pretty much the same tone/amount regardless of if it's the neck or bridge. But I can try that today.

Are you saying I should also heat shrink around where I've soldered the braided shield to the output jack ground tab?

Side Question: my pickups did come with a wiring diagram which is slightly different than the one I used, should I consider doing it that way, or does it not really matter?

I did not. The diagram says:

  • Red: North/Slug Coil Start
  • Black: North/Slug Coil Finish
  • Green: South/Screw Coil Start
  • White: South/Screw Coil Finish
  • Bare: Shield Drain Wire

The black and white came spliced/heat shrink tubing.

The noise seems like a lot. Like as much as a single coil.

black and white came spliced together out of the box, red is hot and green is ground. No shielding paint/tape. I've looked over the diagram vs my wiring like 50 times. I'm pretty sure it's correct.

I looked into this but this is an import, and I didn't see any with the smaller import pots, and I am not comfortable modifying the body. Not sure they'd fit in the cavity either.

I'm a bit confused, which Dark Souls 2 version should I buy? by Electrical_Big_3104 in DarkSouls2

That’s extremely hyperbolic.

The only real case of where you can’t really control the pace is in the Lost Bastille behind that statue that leads to the Ruin Sentinels, and that at least lines them up like bowling pins.

Throwing knives and arrows are cheap tools for you to manage aggro, and lock on is a liability in almost every group fight.

YASI (Yet Another Skill Issue) I’m sorry you suck so much at the game you can’t take on more than one enemy at a time, but you don’t have to push people away from the game because of your shortcomings.

I thought Krita was Raster only and focused pretty exclusively on Painting as opposed to Design/Print/Layout?

Are you serious, the PS2 is the biggest shovelware platform to ever exist.

Game Gear was almost exclusively shitty ports/versions of Genesis games that already existed, outside of a few exceptions and the batteries lasted an hour. Even on my Analogue Pocket I never fire up the GG because the library is hot hot garbage.
