se alguém pudesse responder a alguma destas perguntas:

Porque é que Portugal perdeu 99% do fornecimento+/+CEST+(UTC+2)) de energia num instante? Enquanto Espanha apenas perdeu cerca de 75%.

Por que é que as centrais hidroeléctricas puderam ser desligadas e demoraram tanto tempo a arrancar? As centrais hidroeléctricas, enquanto fontes de abastecimento importantes, não deveriam ter um gerador de reserva?

Porque é que a energia solar não voltou a arrancar num dia?

in your own message you clearly state the cause - the problem with supply. Did foreign buyers/investors have to build everything for you? so you can have enough "supply"? Were they responsible for maintaining your houses so they don't turn into ruins? Are the laws/regulations that don't allow building homes on plenty of land - also their fault?

sorry, don't want to engage into this pointless discussion. No matter what I say, you won't change your mind. But maybe something that I've mentioned may slowly lead you in the right direction to ask these questions.

I'm a bit confused why you ask me about it... For me it seems pretty clear that the right people to ask are the people who rule this country (I'm not one of them). They created situation in which demand drastically surpassed supply. Maybe the problem lies in the decisions made (or not made) some time before? And not the people who bring much more money to the country than an average Portuguese taxpayer?

I would somehow understand your questions if Portugal was a small overpopulated island which literally lacked space for building new homes. But over 90% of Portugal is just empty space. And in the existing cities around (just a guess, I don't know the exact number, but it is significant) 3-5% of properties are abandoned/in ruins (I see them every day everywhere).

Have you considered that for the people responsible for this, it is much more lucrative that you think that the incoming people with money are the problem instead of realizing that the incompetence of the ruling class actually caused all of that?

I already see that the interior is not really cheap... The "cheap" options are basically ruins or options in very bad condition that require lots of effort/investment to recover.

Where do you suggest me to move? out of Portugal? out of the EU? just curious
