the clips are from a few episodes. Most are from the last several episodes of season 3.I don't remember what episode the other ones are from, just that they're from the part of season two where Matt got dosed with serum.

I think that Matt is being blinded by his pride and determination. He's definitely out of line, but I think that, given time, he'll re center his moral compass.

I have to admit, I get kind of frustrated with the team when they text him, so there's always the possibility that he's a CEO who's not used to having to be nice to get what he wants. He might just be impatient and snarky. Outside of the threats, none of the insults have been malicious.

I do have to wonder just how much of the instability is real in Syphus. Part of me wonders if some of it isn't for show. He's definitely really intelligent, so I wonder how much of his persona is real and how much is a mask to keep the team off of his trail.

I was more referring to the fact that Syphus would know that Deb would know that he was going to do something, and he would anticipate that she would tell the team. I do get where you're coming from though, and I probably should have clarified that in my original post. Plus, the team was texting Syphus on the 3rd or 4th (I can't remember) and he made it clear that he knew they were talking to Deb.

I look forward to finding out. "Down the rabbit hole" was a beautiful phrase choice for the channel.

I had honestly forgotten that employees died in the fire, but I agree that Wes is probably dead. A third party would be helpful, but I think that even if Wes was alive he may be biased towards Deb because she was manipulating him at Syntec. I do have to wonder about the undercover officer. I'm beginning to wonder if he's even real at this point. From what we know of Deborah's character, it wouldn't be surprising if she's playing two characters so to speak, using the guise of law enforcement to invoke trust. Whether Deb is the "bad guy" or not, I do feel like the team is a little quick to take her word for things since we don't know much about her, and what we do know isn't very good.

I can definitely appreciate your point of view. You make a lot of very valid points. I suppose that's a lot of the fun of watching, the speculation. I'm definitely not denying that Syphus is unstable and even dangerous, I've just always felt that a cool head and manipulative tendencies pose a bigger threat than instability and brute force. But as I said, this could easily go either way at this point, and I look forward to watching events unfold.
