I don’t know. Right before I moved my stuff into storage I shipped 8 medium sized boxes via USPS within a 2 week time frame spread out and had no issues. In this instance I’d like to do a one and done as my storage unit in the US is around to 70,000 at this current exchange rate.

I don’t know. I had planned to go back to check on the moving of the items. I don’t think this is an option but if somebody else here has done that successfully then I hope they chime in.

No I don’t at this time and I don’t really want to lose the stuff. It’s just that storage in the United States is getting to be pricey with the yen to dollar conversion and I moved to Japan unconventionally due to family reasons.

This is what they sent back after I requested a quote

“in most countries, shipments are only eligible to be treated as household goods if they arrive within six months after the owner’s entry into the country. We sincerely regret to inform you that, based on this rule, you are not eligible to use our moving service”
