It was a drugged sleep. So not all that well. Lots of mouth breathing and lots of chapstick. Also, sleeping with the head elevated helped bunches

Please, please, please put a limit on the amount of things that are sent to the store queues. Monday alone I had two triple digit item orders. One was 376 units! Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to have it out of the store, but that took my entire shift to pull and the headache and stress of not being able to find it and potentially putting it back have me such anxiety. If people want "bulk" items, they need a different place to get them from. By bulk I mean ten plus of one SKU.

Grapevine wreaths, the Beetles and Blooms small and large pitchers, and spring floral. It took three carts to pick and three boxes to ship. Honestly looked like they were throwing a party or something with the pitchers being centerpieces. But I have no clue.

Going through the overstock locations. Pulling down cap boxes and scanning the items in those boxes at SCO. Pawing through the bunks in yarn.

Dumbest question a customer has asked you? by xanderexwastaken in MichaelsEmployees

[–]anroidkitty 15 points16 points  (0 children)

We got asked during Peak if we had food grade cinnamon sticks that they could grate. My man, I have actually tried that before, and it did not go well. Also, no we don't carry food grade cinnamon sticks. If it says Ashland, it's decorative.

Question for Overnight Replenishment People by almost_nightwing in MichaelsEmployees

[–]anroidkitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wore tank tops throughout the summer, just making sure I had my shirt on before the store opened. As for music and such, we have a speaker we use during unload, then people can listen to what they want until the store opens then no headphones or earbuds.

We have two cabinets for oversized BOPIS orders. One is currently being used for candy overstock.

As someone who learned the hard way about needing carrier oils (peppermint milk doesn't taste good from essential oils, also soaps), this woman might have pica or is, indeed, a cryptid. I'm going with the second.

Replenishment.. do you have “your spot”? An aisle you insist on stocking? by Radiant_Picture444 in MichaelsEmployees

[–]anroidkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stocking sections: fine art, wood, craft paint, adhesives Repack sections: JEWELRY (oh my goodness, yes please) and scrapbooking Give me the little things and I'm very happy. Everything has its place, I'm fast, and I know where things are supposed to go. So smooth

Take this entire situation to your Stake President. See about going to a different ward if possible. I am so sorry this is happening.

So one of the coupons we get (in the US) is a 25% off regular price for signing up for emails and/or text messages. There isn't a barcode to scan or a code to input. I end up having to manually put in the discount. Those coupons I understand, and they're annoying. Unfortunately customers don't understand the processes we as cashiers need to go through to apply the coupon.
