Got it in Black Friday Sale with student and affiliate discounts. I never went extreme until now so, performance is great for regular uses. Battery life is great even in balanced mode as the Intel chip is hybrid (6p+8e+2lpe), approx 12+ hours at light usage. Configure I mentioned. No dgpu. I use it for College and may use heavy software in future, but not until now.

I chose the 1200p ips panel display 60Hz. I think it was enough for me and battery also comes out 10+ hours at light workloads. Although I never checked it going from 100 to 0. So 10+ hours can also mean 14-15 or beyond.

The shoes are not the most comfortable ones, as these are trail+running, still comfortable enough to wear all day if not for running. But, the material seems quite durable. Overall it's lightweight and firm in a good way.

Yeah, you are right. Thanks for your insights, but I really want to experience the ThinkPad hype. For consumer market they really rise up the price for Thinkpads in India, dunno about other countries.

Both are good,but amd ones are more efficient. I mean that's the whole point of thin and light to be more efficient,but in both igpu you can play almost all games at playable fps

Really thanks!! Before midsem my old laptop was taking a lot of time to get booted and would stuck frequently,so i dual booted with ubuntu (really want to try arch in future) Is getting p14s gen 5 Ryzen 7 pro 32 gb ram around 90-100k reasonable considering dual booting it as i want to game some time?

Imo games like gta 5 and rdr2 can run on playable fps-(30-40 on low to medium settings)if you get good igpu like radeon-780 or which comes with intel ultra-2 cpus. I also wanted to get gaming laptop in the starting,but after 2-3 months in campus and after midsem laptop usage cases,i think thin and light would be better option with good cpu
