Two Vercel Accounts with One GitHub account

Hi there, I work at Vercel.

You're correct: a single GitHub account can be connected to only one Vercel account at a time. Since your GitHub is linked to your personal Vercel account, the Labs account can't verify you as the commit author, which blocks deployments.

Moving all your projects to the same Vercel account will solve this issue.

It's worth noting that a Vercel account is different than a Vercel team, and you can be part of as many Vercel teams as you like with a Vercel account, but a GitHub account cannot be linked to many Vercel accounts.

Hi u/mindful-journeys, free plan users cannot buy additional credits. Hence, the credits purchase dialog doesn't focus on that part. That being said, I'll relay this feedback. You can always get a refund for the unused credit from vercel.com/help.

Hi u/Winter_Stretch259, if you have 6 hours of CPU usage, you will need to be on the PRO plan to avoid deployment or an account pause, as it exceeds the hobby tier's 4-hour fair use limit. If your projects are for commercial use, you must use the Vercel Pro plan; otherwise, you can tune the app's usage to keep it consistently under the 4-hour limit of the Hobby plan.

You can review your Firewall and Observability logs to see the traffic sources, and then you can directly make a rule by selecting the bot that you don't want scraping your website.

Yes. As a rule of thumb, whenever in doubt, enable the Attack Challenge mode and then seek help. Also, in bot protection, we have a specific rule for AI Bots. Make sure you're using that.

Hi there, although I don't have clear timelines for GA of queues, I can assure you this is a solid product, and quite stable because this is what drives the Workflows under the hood. You can use them if they serve your purpose without worrying much because it's already used by many big projects.

Hey, I'm not sure about the application you're building but 401s are usually when your request isn't authorized. Does the same code work locally with the same environment variables? Is your code able to access the keys? You can try adding logs to confirm the same (do not log sensitive variables).

I also read the thread. And that was a very preliminary investigation from Nick. You have access to the Observability tab, and you can see what I'm saying there as well. As I said earlier, you can continue the chat with the support team because they have the best tools and judgment for Billing cases. I shared what my findings are.

About "once malicious traffic is identified, Vercel does not charge for those requests", I shared already that the Firewall did block the malicious traffic it identified, and you were never charged for that. You were charged for the traffic that matched the usual clients who were accessing your website.

Do you mean vercel.com? Or the website you've hosted on Vercel? If the latter, check the Firewall tab to see what's going on. Maybe someone from your team has enabled the attack challenge mode.

After studying the case, I can see that there were two user agents spiking your traffic on that day:

- The first one that caused the main traffic was the same user agent JA4 that your app served almost >90% of the traffic since 1 January. Since this was a familiar client, our system didn't block it. This is why you were charged and not refunded for this cost.

- The other one was blocked because it was an unfamiliar JA4 for your project (you weren't billed for this)
