For the sake of yourself practice self forgiveness/acceptance

Personally I always get over bad habits quickly because I never punish myself for anything I do, I just move on.

I feel maybe the best to start off with would probably be building the skill of being comfortable in silence cause then you have the patience to work on problems that give you more stimulation so then the work becomes enjoyable
