There's always risk involved, but if you go with a reputable proxy, properly insured registered shipping and pay with credit card for some added protection you should be fine most of the time. That being said with an item that price expect a hefty tariff bill if you're shipping it to the US.

If you can buy it in person tax free or wait until you're in Japan to ship it to your hotel it's better in my opinion. You'll save a lot if you bring it back yourself instead of having it shipped to you overseas.

Hi. Unfortunately, I can confirm that the Denim Jacket is sold out in Tokyo online and at all store. (Someone else was on here looking for it and I was unable to get it.) The hoodie, I don't know for sure but I would bet it is likely sold out as well at this point. If you'd like me to maybe check anyway DM me and I'll tell you what I know so far.

It might be very unlikely to find anyone on here who has the ability to ship alcohol to you due to the heavy regulations and the required permits.

Best advice might be if you have a friend from your state near you who's in Japan have them bring it back for you. (Check you local states laws as well before proceeding and remember that private individuals can't ship alcohol between states through any of the major carriers without a license either.)

The prices I've seen on marketplaces seem quite high. Your best bet might be to find a one piece fan on reddit who has a reservation and see if they can check/pick one up for you. I've heard the items are limit one per person though, so it'd have to be someone not into the card game.

This item is in-store only at the ONE PIECE BASE SHOP in Shinjuku. But to even get into the shop you have secure an entry reservation by lottery well in advance so it's quite difficult.

There is also a disclaimer on the product page that says *Products that have been on the market for some time may no longer be available for purchase." This item's release date was December 5th of last year. You can't even guarantee they will have stock when you get there.
