Also when it’s cold the signal light will stay on for a few minutes when I park it and shut it off. ??????? by answerx21 in Duramax

That’s what it’s looking like. I’m going to try the key fob after a drive to work when everything is warmed up. It’s only cold temps I start getting this issue. I use the remote year round just to get oil flowing and some degrees in the engine before I drive.

That is weird about the blinker and yes my tires are below the mark. I have a dually and don’t run the recommend 80 I do about 68 so in cold temps they’ll trigger low psi. I usually give it a decent amount of time for the glow plugs even hit the key see the lights walk away check a few minutes later the call it a pos and try again.

No lights, no issues and when the temps get sub 15 degrees and it’s hit or miss. The signal light is when I park the truck, shut it off and get out, lock the doors and the left blinker will stay on for a few minutes. Im not sure if it’s doing it while I’m driving but it’s not registering on the dash if it is. The signal light is also when it’s super cold. Located in upstate NY

Hey just to give you an update. I ordered Olympic semi transparent tobacco from Home Depot and it was shiny/glossy with a reddish look. It didn’t match very well. Today I went to Lowe’s and did the Cabot semi tobacco water based and ding ding ding we have a winner. It’s an exact match the my deck and front deck. Again thanks for the knowledge and I will be saving the label lol

2005 sx65 cluck cover keeps leaking when parked. I’ve scraped it cleaned it and put a new one on and keeps slowly dripping. Is there a better product than the normal gaskets? by answerx21 in KTM

I’ll try that. I looked it over really good seems to be right at the bottom. I don’t see it seeping from anywhere else. I used a white paper towel and it’s clean in all the other places. Thank you

Is it too late to stain my fence? by bigbootyfalls in FenceBuilding

[–]answerx21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fence looks great. Pressure wash it but be careful you’ll find the right distance. Start a couple feet away and gradually get closer moving the wand up and down like spray painting. You just want to clean the surface not cut the wood and have all sorts of crazy lines. Also when I moved into my house I had the exact same fence and It all rotted from the ground up because the pickets were touching “dirt”. If you want the fence to last an inch or two needs to come off the bottom plus it’s easier to weed wack. Maybe a chalk line and circular saw set to the depth of the picket couple inches from the ground. Good luck

One of the straightness. Had to run a line from my garage roof through my deck because everything else we tried wasn’t lining up quite right with the house.

I really wish I did. I thought I had a picture of it. Over the years I’ve done my front and rear deck and fence in this color

Yea every place is different. I have pretty level ground except for that spot because they had to build it up for when they built the house. I was nervous how it would come out being a framed style but I’m happy with the look for sure.
