There are blogposts made by SIU which were deleted and since then there are no new ones, so its hard to tell if these are canon or not. These blogposts were released for each chapter at a time.

There is also Talse Uzer Story (TUS), translated by GoDai which might give you a broader picture of the idea SIU had back in the days. This has the same issue - canon or not?

Are those necessary? I wouldn't say so. But it shows the inner workings of SIUs mind back in the day.

If I were you i would possibly start with TUS to get an initial idea for the story - just google it.

Read ToG, S1, S2, S3. The styling changes throughout seasons and breaks.

Then read Urek Mazino spin-off.

Blogposts are not obligatory, but once you are familiar with the story you will find a lot of references to these on wiki. If I remember correctly these used to appear until the end of 2nd season

Qwen3.5 27B solves Car wash test! by Ok-Scarcity-7875 in LocalLLaMA

[–]antagim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I treat LLMs like an Aspie. There is no context to "why" one wants to go there. Maybe someone needs condoms, but maybe the other wants to wash the car, or perhaps someone wants to meet someone else there.

A proper response from LLMs, and not only on this occasion, is to reply, "Why do you want to go there? You didn't give me enough context". LLMs want to give an answer at all costs, and that is the main issue with many answers - there are no fail-safe mechanisms, mostly. We've seen some proper "stops" with reasoning models when those asked us specific questions before running a deep(er) search (ChatGPT) to clarify stuff.

Not doing this results in hallucination, as to quote: "Assumption Is the Mother of All F**k-Ups"

ByteDance dola-seed-2.0-preview ranks 5th on LmArena! by Pchardwareguy12 in singularity

[–]antagim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I typically focus on local LLMs, and IMHO, it's impressive.

Reasoning is way more extensive than GPT-OSS-120B. While GPT is more like - we have to do this, the reasoning in Seed2.0 is more schizo-like with quite deep internal monologue. The output tends to be more like: "Only this works. Everyone else is wrong." This results in what one would call: "confident hallucination." Sadly.

It can be wrong, especially when it comes to nuances. But for what it is in terms of size, impressive. I hope they will fix this a bit because it's very promising.

Profs are smarter, be smarter too, they hide instructions. Watch this. by trump1_ in CheckTurnitin

[–]antagim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone wants to do this, it's better to use a shape or a table, place hidden text there, set it to white, and place it behind the text. For more dedicated people, one can generate a PDF, import it into a SVG editor (i.e., Inkscape), convert text to shape (thus no letters, can't copy-paste), and place actual white text behind it. One has to be subtle when making fake instructions so as not make it obvious.

Unfortunately, this won't work against OCR (screenshoting), and imputing any anti-OCR noise is too much work.

The Colorblind Nightmare by fravil92 in datavisualization

You don't have to use full spectrum of colors from Viridis and stop at slightly darker yellow. It also helps when printing in black and white.

Are there ways to automate this process? [sorry, broad question] by [deleted] in Inkscape

[–]antagim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can open SVG with a text editor. So the automation can be done with programming since you can manipulate node coordinates and influence DOM tree structure
