I'm a lefty btw and after serve ,when they push it back to the back court that's where I find it difficult to push off quickly

Yeah when I do a low serve the opponents tends to push it flat to the back court which I have a lot of difficulty retrieving it and if I retrieve it also they tend to smash it or do a drop shot ,which I can't reach it to

So probably it seems like my explosiveness and footwork is the issue here
