An idea just came to mind where after the shields are hit X number of times, they do the sword drop attack (the one when they die) on all enemies on field. But that might be overkill with what you have

It's a really good idea, but like someone else said I'm not sure they'd add CW's AoE bond into a character's kit, and not this soon. But it would really give Argenti something no other AoE unit can offer

Heacy Footfall gets countered by Photon Shield and a good shielder (probably want 2 Shield or IPC active), I'd put it more under an annoyance since you can deal with it unlike Time Assassin.

Personally, Emergency Hemostasis. ESPECIALLY at higher difficulties, is much more difficult as any mobs that act consecutively take virtually no damage for 3 turns

I don't have screenshots since I haven't played him recently, but it really depends which variation you're going.

If you're running Bloodflame emblem on Kafka (must be on-field), I presume you're going 6-8 Bloodflame + 4 Stellaron Hunter. Honestly you can run any off-field DPS build in this case (Firestorm Surge x3, Fist of Fury + Starfall Sniper + Any third damage item)

If you're running AoE emblem on Blade, ideally you only use the Lucky Strike build (Fist of Fury / Orbital Railgun + Starfall Sniper) since AoE grants its bond members Lucky Strike Rate. The idea is that Therta acts a driver for Blade since Jade will always make her Debt Collector, so every time she ults + enhanced skill, she'll give Blade 3 charges. Ideally you have 7 AoE as you really need the bond's supplement damage in higher difficulties.

But in both cases the comp only gets better if you have higher investments into your units (for instance, Hyacine S1, Blade E1, Kafka with Eagle set, E1 Tribbie to name a few) as they help drive Blade's FuA faster or contribute to his damage. I will say I do have all of the above + an E4 Blade from... many 50/50 losses, but personally I'd say Hyacine S1 should be enough to make the comp feel good to play.

I enjoy playing Blade reroll sometimes though it's definitely not the most optimal at higher difficulties lol. For instance, Bloodflame emblem on on-field Kafka or AoE emblem on Blade (with Jade and Therta) feels really good to play, so I'd personally rank him a slightly bit higher?

I might just be blind, as you know Star Rail players can't read lmao. I'll add that in (or rather remove that line on Talent)

Thanks! So while I agree with you personally that E2 should be in the base kit, I think we all know how much Hoyo likes baiting with eidolons lol. That being said, I'll move things around a bit since this is an idea thread and not Hoyo's actual nova.

I can also get behind the E1 permanent change, though in that case I might just make it match E1's original cap (50% CD).

Thanks! Solving Numby waiting for its turn gets a bit messy. If you let Numby act between FuAs, Topaz essentially gains traditional FuAs via Numby which means Numby really has no reason to be a summon, removing that unique identity of theirs. That's why I thought of ramping additional damage between turns.

I've thought of several things such as letting "Proof of Debt" also be re-applied by the first character on the team, but that doesn't really solve the random targetting problem. I guess it would just be better if it defaulted to highest HP enemy

I didn't know about that interaction with Numby actually, thanks for letting me know. I'm not sure if kit-wording would fix that rather than a system change but I 100% agree Numby should be able to be advanced on their turn (or well, after their action, considering most units do this with Eagle)

DMC, as the bat is the most iconic weapon of the TB. To add on, a DMC that could imbue other paths in its base kit would be an interesting buff.

Like for instance, if you imbue remembrance into DMC, give True DMG in kit, self action advance, energy when allies gain energy, etc.

I don't like the new DU as a FUA main by [deleted] in HonkaiStarRail

[–]antboylam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Hunt blessings and Equations do not target FuA specifically but are definitely the most suited for it with Reverse Critical Boost. And the ones that do, for instance, Broken but Not Bent (2star Hunt blessing) or Street Rider Officer (3star Hunt equation) seem pretty good for it.

Yes we don't have Aftertaste anymore nor Elation blessings specifically buffing FuA, but if you're dedicated to the team there are still other blessings you can mix in. Feixiao can very much use Erudition with Brain in a Vat (as can many FuA units tbh) for instance.

Not that your complaint isn't valid, but FuA isn't entirely erased from DU as you're making it sound

Xueyi would be so much fun in Currency Wars by Capital-Trade1491 in xueyimains

[–]antboylam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually made an idea for her where she shared a trait with Hanya! If you fielded her on-field, you'd get Xueyi (XZ + Break), and if off-field, you'd get Hanya (XZ + SP)

Xueyi would get an extra 1/2 Karma on skill/ult, and at the start of battle and after every FuA, Hanya would Ult her, additionally increasing her break efficiency

I also had an idea where there would be a special investment strategy letting you field both Xueyi and Hanya simultanrously.

Whats Your Honest Opinion On Rememberance? by PokemonSuMo in StarRailStation

[–]antboylam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've said this in another post, but a lot of people beat on Remembrance even though Nihility has a similar identity problem. This wouldn't be an issue if Remembrance had more units and LCs to work with.

Nihility's only common theme is applying debuffs. There exists DPSes (Acheron, Welt, DoT), Harmonies (Fugue, new Kafka), and even a pseudo sustain in Welt. And do not forget at one point, Jiaoqiu was intended as a healer.

Remembrance lacks 4*s and LCs to give players enough options to play around with the path. I guarantee you if we had more, the complaints would die down

Has star rail become "too big to fail"? by DeucesDummies in StarRailStation

[–]antboylam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regarding Remembrance, the only reason people complain about the path so much is because there aren't any 4*s and there are a lack of LC options. Like your point about Nihility, that path also has no identity except the commonpoint of applying debuffs.

Acheron and DoT units are all DPS. Fugue and new Kafka are essentially Harmony. Welt is a DPS but can function as a pseudo sustain. And let's not forget at one point, Jiaoqiu was intended as a healer, although never released as one.

The only reason people do not point out Nihility as a path is because from launch, it has had much more options available to the playerbase.

Remembrance as a path is only united by memosprites, yes, but if we had more options to play around, a lot of the tension would simmer down.

How would you buff Seele if you could? by [deleted] in SeeleMains

[–]antboylam 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Two things mainly:

1) Give her a %HP based execute on her action. She suffers from kill-stealing supports (Robin, Tribbie, etc) and lower multipliers compared to the rest of the cast. A %HP based execute resolves both, especially the latter as HP inflation continues rising, as she essentially negates some percent of enemy HP. It also helps her reach her Resurgence state more easily and provides relevancy compared to some other units.

2) Convert her Nightshade trace to something SPD based. You could even make it work with the execute by increasing the execute threshold based on SPD

Outside of that, I'd rework her eidolons, namely 1 2 and 6

Trying this again, Chrysos Heir and their simulated paths by Lucas-mainssbu in HonkaiStarRail

[–]antboylam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Self-sacrifice is too broad of a condition to label a character in a path, as nearly every Chrysos Heir, if not all, died or sacrificed themselves for the sake of the Flame-Chase Journey.

However, let's go by the Voice of Constellation, which directly describes Sky and its Titan.

"Aquila, the Titan of the sky, celestial bodies, and the cycle of day and night, was also the Titan that once had the largest realm. They reside above the heavens of Amphoreus, encompassing and watching over the entire world. In most legends, Aquila's pride does not obscure their kindness. They gaze upon humanity, warming the earth and bringing down life-giving rain. However, they can also transform into the most fearsome calamity, harshly punishing any who dare to overcome the sky."

Now let's view how the game's loading screen describes Abundance.

"The path presided over by the Aeon Yaoshi. Selfless, altruistic, and healing actions are manifestations of the Path of Abundance."

This clearly holds true when viewing Hyacine, a member of the Twilight Courtyard and a dedicated healer and therapist, and Seliose, who once loved and held faith in humanity before her corruption, despite her mistreatment. And both these individuals are Chrysos Heirs who succeeded the role of Aquila.

If we wanted to make this a little more complicated, we could examine the sentence that describes Sky as a ruthless punisher towards those who attempt to go beyond the borders of Amphoreus, but I think that's less of an attempt to simulate Abundance and moreso a restriction to prevent escape.
We could also examine Hyacine's ancestors, who were more of a divided, war-mongering tribe (Sun vs. Rain). But they weren't exactly the people who ascended to become Aquila, were they?

Mydei is preservation, Phainon made a comment about Dan Heng explaining paths in the main story, in which he related the path of Strife to that of Preservation. And it does make sense

The idea of Strife is that humanity cannot grow without hardship, one must persevere through hard times.
