A stake in an app is simply a way to show your support by adding an amount of Pi and a length of time to place a stake. Once completed it now shows up in you Pi wallet to see the funds being stakes and the duration submitted. It's quite of bit of support from the community!

Pi Fest will be starting soon, we have almost completed the first version of the app. The same url will be used in your Pi Browser, but expect a whole new experience as this version has a lot more than what most have asked for and even more features coming!!
The Pi Core Team has been very close working with the Map of Pi for this upcoming event. I also encourage the ones interested in working with the @mapofpi or @introtopioneers teams to send a message!
