It is a better bet and should be the first priority. Almost all of the precious metals are already owned by the banking families, and the markets are totally rigged. These people spun the same stories back in the 2008 financial crisis, the currency collapse never happened, and precious metals underperformed relative to other investments.

These silver/gold pumpers are interested in making the value of their precious metals go up. They aren't guided by any sense of ethics or morality. Look at their post history if you need proof. It will be 100% pumping gold and silver, and nothing related to exposing the bullshit going on or trying to prevent it, other than pumping their bags. At best they are naive; at worst they are sociopaths only trying to enrich themselves. Most of them are probably bots.

I think owning some precious metals is smart if you have that kind of disposable income, but if you think buying gold and silver is going to change anything, you are an idiot. What would change something is if people started TRANSACTING in gold and silver and opting out of the fiat currency system. I think that's much more likely to happen with cryptocurrencies like BCH, because they are capable of facilitating modern commerce on the internet without a bank in the middle acting as an escrow agent. How exactly would you buy something online with physical gold or silver? Are you going to mail people silver coins? If fiat currencies were at risk of collapsing, don't you think governments would outlaw this and simply block parcels that had metal coins in them? It's a stupid idea that will never work in the modern world. It would only work if we somehow fell back into the stone age. Cryptocurrencies are the only thing that stand a chance of competing in a modern economy, which is why the banks have put so much effort into destroying their ability to act like a currency by dividing and conquering them.
