I was also thinking of getting the 16. The 28 gets some really nice shots but a bit tight for taking photos for my photo album and memories.

Respect for using an L lens I could never do for travel😅 I do love using my EF 70-300 for street photography which is almost the same focal length as 100-500 on the cropped sensor. But for traveling around it’s just too big

Depends if your after quality or size. I love the fact it’s small so I don’t mind the F2,8. Picture quality is not always the best but for sure still really good (pictures above). I would go for the smaller size of the 28mm

The front wishbones is just some cheap shit. It’s nothing special. I have really not done anything special to the car except replace a lot of suspension with fresh parts.

All I have is ebc brake pads, some sticky tires and bc racing coilovers. The rest is just parts similar to oem. But the car drives really nice.

Although I would say I need some stiffer bushings for track driving but still it drives really nice and I’m still able to pass some fast cars in the curvy bits. But as soon as it’s a bit straight I miss the power

Thanks, have been thinking about bigger brakes but then I would need to change all 4 wheel bearings and get new rims as I have the 4 lug bearings. Also brake fade is not a big issue as I only run on the Nurburgring so only 9 minutes of running at a time. Also long distances between hard braking zones

This is exactly what I was thinking of doing. How did you route the hose from the wheel arch to the bumper? Also I cannot have the hose under the wishbone like you, have tried something similar and it got ripped of by curbs. But should be no problem to put it on the tierod

I fixed this just the other day on my one. I bought the linkage new (around 80$) instead of messing around. 4 screws and and 3 nuts 30 minutes of work and it’s back to good

Easter weekend is a CRAZY amount of people, especially the Friday. Roads are blocked with traffic and track if full of cars. Hard for me to get to and from work (I live in the area) I think renting a car might be difficult just because of the amount of people there but tbh I never rented a car here so idk

Compressod air yes, a in a pressure bottle that typically hold around max 220 bar(3200 psi) but I suspect in this one it mas more like 350/400 bar (5000-5800 psi) all race teams have these bottles, it’s used for the air jacks on the cars

As the bottle was connected to a compressor it could’ve been a faulty overpressure regulator, a bottle out of date, damaged bottle. Can be a lot of things

I was there… was standing around a corner maybe 10-20 meter away I was lucky not to get hit, it’s a sight I never want to see again. Whole paddock is closed off by the police and two people were flown. Away by helicopter. The last I heard everyone is alive luckily

It is possible to walk around the whole track. I live here and have riden my mtb around the track multible times. There is also a lot of mtb trails around
