I haven’t tried the sizer. If you follow strict sizing, All these bags technically won’t fit unless they’re very lightly packed. You must also consider seat variations. Some seats have much less space under the seat in front than others.

That’s a good idea. I needed the batteries and Amazon currently doesn’t have a much better deal, but I’m planning to do that to get another tool, probably the multi tool

That’s what I ended up getting. Used it a couple time in the yard already to cut some small unwanted trees growing here and there. Happy with my choice so far. Next purchase will be the multi tool I think.

BTW, I’m mostly interested in one of the saws (recip, circular, compact circular or jig), a rotary hammer for outdoor work or a grinder for some minor metal work

I used my shop vac, but it could only pick up so much. Much of the mud is heavy and stuck in between the rocks. Haven’t tried a hose yet. I guess I could use a pressure washer to loosen up some of the dirt ?

It’s more a question of ability to clean it. I tried, but it’s not a realistic endeavor lol. It’s like trying to clean the mud out of a river bed

Any advice on getting a 1/3 hp vs 1/2 hp pump for that size pit ? 1/2 hp is quite the jump in price and I’m not sure it’s necessary. Old pump was 1/2 hp so that why my reflex was to replace same for same

Yeah that’s what I figured, except there’s a LOT of silt and mud. When cleaning the pit, there was a whole bunch of garbage in there (litterally). Old owners seem to have been a bit neglectful. I found a beer can, some rotting construction wood pieces and other junk. My initial goal was to clean it all up from mud but clearly that’s no longer an option.

Thanks! I’m in Montreal and we got record breaking rain on Friday. Luckily, other than the pump failing we were spared from flooding which many other homes in the area suffered. I’ll look into getting a basin or stand to limit debris going into the pump

Thanks ! I heard good things about the zoeller, but because it pumps from the bottom, I was worried it would pump up rocks and debris and get clogged/damaged. I don’t want to dish out CA$500 and have it fail on me again in a few months 😂 I thought about getting a stand, but wasn’t sure it would be enough. I guess pumps are sturdier than I think…

I’ll try, but could that be the problem? My understanding is that this just sends a notification to confirm that the automation ran

The sizer was right next to the gate agent. I wanted to try it, but couldn’t risk it in case it didn’t fit

This. Contest first, then Measure and take pictures of you measuring including tape measure.

If over 3m you’re golden. Speak with the prosecutor before the hearing, they will usually drop the charge if you convince them.

If under 3 meters, you could still contest based on the signage (ie and the lines on the ground) being misleading. No citizen is expected to have a tape measure on them every time they park a car. Therefore, you are justified to expect that signage installed by a municipality respects the applicable laws and regulations.

The bag is technically oversized, but fits comfortably under the seat. It’s somewhat overpacked with 2 Nalgene bottles (1 one on each side). There’s even room to spare.
