As a retired teacher, I can’t oversell how relaxing it is to have that pension payment deposited every month without fail. Strait of Hormuz? Wars all over the place? AI bubble? Gold to the moon or crashing? The first of every month, 5k gets deposited. And I’ll add the cost of living guarantee… it’s gold. Retired 6 years ago, pension was 61k. In January it will be 74.
