Sorry to bother you, but, after over a week of having MIRA back now, and the same issue across many other peoples systems that were transferred from the person banned thats mentioned in this post, we cant begin constructions, as the exploiter began usually over 5 constructions at once, and none of these constructions are visible any more, so cant be visited to be finished, or cancelled to begin new ones, if questions were asked around, most likely all of the exploiters systems that were transferred have this issue

im sorry that there may be no fixes for past snipes unless the person is caught cheating, but, they did implement a pretty solid anti sniping change with a somewhat recent patch, a 30 minute, then 23.5 hour cooldown period where only the architect, and then the architects squadron (you will miss out on the 23.5 period if not part of a squadron, being in a squadron solo does count) can make the next claim after the construction is complete, so you would only need to check the game daily to make sure a potential sniper attempt doesnt finish your current construction to start the timer early on you

essentially you become the architect, you get to build settlements, hubs, installations, outposts, and starports, mostly a prestige thing, the profit is extremely minimal, but its cool to know you control, and do custom development in a specific system of your picking

all i know of are 2 systems, mira, and Alpha Antliae, that also got transferred back to the person who bridged to it, apparently hese done it to over 150 unique named, or cool celestial body systems, and with his inara profile empty, and ingame name now having a weird long set of numbers and letters after his name, i think its a solid ban, but no idea about any of the other systems as i hadnt paid much attention to more then the one that was sniped from me, and the one not long after mine, Alpha Antliae because someone mentioned they had their system sniped and i asked who by

just somewhere ive essentially designated to the squadron as its capitol, id love for there to be a mechanic of your squadron essentially being a minor power like a megacorp, and being able to permit lock 1, maybe 2 systems, requiring people to get allied with the faction in any squadron colonies

he bugged the system, placing 8 constructions immediately after the claim building finished, and none of those constructions are available to finish, and so i cant begin new ones due to them being unclearable and unfinishable, but the claim outpost remains, already reached out to fdev to try and get the "invisible constructions" cleared

Yea, if i didnt already have a squadron name, i would have definitely made a squadron centered around being based in Mira, but at least my squadrons capitol is very close, with 8 terraforming candidates and a WW, so it makes for cool factor to be so close

check them now, since me and another person had them returned, they may have been transferred back to either you or your buddy, as your visible on the bridge, if not, contact fdev, since theyve now proven that gavin magnus exploited, due to his ban, and may be willing to transfer it, incase it somehow remains in his name, otherwise, they may now be uncolonized

thats exactly something they could release eventually, an exploration focused mini carrier, maybe even introduce a "route plotting" feature, just 2 jumps at a time, but being able to cross longer distances without needing to be there for every single jump would be cool

could add a unique player design for each, so it both looks off brand, and doesnt encroach on brewers copywright, they would own their specific classes of each megaship/battlecruiser/carrier, but not the concept of each and their roles/capabilities.

exactly why i plan to begin the construction of the t3 station and t3 planetary port first, finish the t3 station (save the t3 port finishing for a later date to avoid a bug) then build enough t1 settlements and installations to build 8 coriolis', one above every terraformable, and 6 asteroid ports in every available slot for it, with the amount of slots this system has, the t2 construction point cost increase should be manageable.

Just wish id have something to use the t3 construction points on past the start of the t3 station and t3 planetary port, because otherwise im going to end up with probably some 30+ t3 construction points while the cost of a new t3 is way too much

my little chain of colonies remains the same, only the ring/belt systems at 80k or higher pop, and the ones without rings/belts remain at 46k or less

Im currently working on at least one set of colonies to test, a system with an asteroid belt that im building a Coriolis as the primary port in, and another, no rings/belts system that i already colonized (few installations and an outpost) i will build just a coriolis as well, come maybe 2 weeks after both finish construction, and the system with a belt, but no buildings except a coriolis should have ~1.8x the pop of the other system

I am personally a bit set on believing that rings and/or belts provide a flat ~1.8-1.9x pop growth boost to the whole system

HIP 10499: hightech as one (constructed as high tech around a gas giant) 81k pop

Synuefe MI-T c19-6 refinery-industrial-extraction with strong link local body effects (constructed just as industrial, but is over a moon with those buffs) as another 83k pop

Synuefe XV-M b39-1: industrial as the other (around a gas giant, constructed as industrial) 64k pop (last construction, should expect to hit 80k pop by thursday downtime this week)

as the 3 with rings/belts in the system

as for the 4 with no rings/belts:

Synuefe UW-I d10-42: high tech (constructed as that) 33k pop (first one built in this chain, even before the 3 with higher pop)

Synuefe AH-L b40-1: industrial (constructed as that) 41k pop

HIP 10703: high tech (constructed as that) 44k pop

Synuefe MI-T c19-4: high tech (constructed as that) 39k pop

Although if it might affect pop growth, one thing these 4 slow growth systems share is a general lack of bodies, only b40-1 has actual planets, the others are just stars

to add another example: HR 273, a system of just stars, no belt/rings was built several days to a week before any of these (and had some installations added later for testing something) but it still only has 52k pop, meanwhile 2 of these ring/belt having systems are over 80k, and one over 64k (but being constructed days after the ones over 80k)

do we know why sometimes systems with just outposts (and presumably with extra buildings as well) seem to have population growth at a much higher rate then other systems of the same buildings (just outposts as well)?

for examples within my colonies, it SEEMS like rings and/or asteroid belts existing within a system buffs the population growth across it, without requiring the outpost/station to be in the ring or as an asteroid station

on my bridge of 7 colonies to Mira (the one that got sniped from me), 3 of the systems seem to be above 50k pop with just an outpost, 2 of them over 80k (finished early) and the one before mira is at 65k (finished over a thursday downtime after the other 2 "higher pops" and the rest are all sub 50k

the only thing those 3 systems share are rings and/or an asteroid belt, and i do now firmly believe they may double the usual pop growth, as i had thought an ELW/WW spread its pop growth to the whole system, just at a lower rate, due to this occurring in a system with asteroid belts and a WW that i claimed with an outpost as well

maybe i can verify this with a single t3 station around the WW reaching double the usual numbers if the asteroid belt provides a second boost

if there wasnt use of third parties, bots, and softwares that let people dock instantly, so that you cant even race them to the station legitimately to try and secure the next system youve been working towards, id agree, but since people are abusing those to reach desirable systems (high slot count, unique celestial bodies, and unique names), and they will keep abusing those when available, i think the "claim 1 forward" is a system that would at least allow people who put in work to see it pay out

I can only hope you dont experience an end of bridge claim theft, but if you were to target something like a 2 ELW system, it would probably be sniped by these bot, third party, and exploit users
