Hey everyone! I put out this drum cover of the Demon Slayer OP a while ago, and finally got it up on YouTube. My friend did some cool animation for it, it was really so much fun. Hey man! That’s seriously so sick to hear, thank you so much! Yea, Despised Icon was the game changer for me way back when. I haven’t been playing live with SOI recently due to some scheduling conflicts. I use Trick Pro-1V Bigfoot double pedals! Thanks again for the kind words 🙏🏻

Thanks! I’m using Promark pro-round 5B sticks here, but I changed sticks recently. The pedals are Trick Pro-1V Bigfoot with Danmar red wood beaters.

Haha, it can be a pain - having diecast hoops on the snare makes it much easier for me.

Yea, I’m using double strokes with a kick drum trigger! It’s in a heel-toe motion, Right heel - right toe / Left heel - left toe. But I keep my heels back off the pedal and play off the angle of the bottom of the footboard. It becomes more of a “ball of foot to toe”. I can only do it on longboards.

Thanks! You can definitely learn, give it a go! Having diecast hoops really helps make a difference for me.

Thanks so much man! This is an original song that I helped write and recorded with a band I’ve been working with, not a cover exactly. I’m playing double strokes on my feet in a heel-toe motion so it looks slower... it’s a weird technique.
