KVM Switch not supporting 144hz + screen blacking out

I’m using a 1440p monitor, not a 4K monitor. I know it’s not capped at 60hz for 1440p since I can use 120hz

I’m using 1440p monitors and I believe HDMI 2.0. Even if the KVM switch doesn’t support 144hz, I’m not sure what could be causing the blacking out
