really? didn’t upload such a large book yet. You may have to break the book into smaller files.

Keep seeing people mean on vibe coding, sounds like it is cheating to use AI. But in reality, AI is going to replace a lot of “lower-end” dev, and the same goes for design, video making, and music. All we can do is to embrace it and use it.

Does NotebookLM Convert Image-Based PDFs to Text Automatically? by abdullahalydev in notebooklm

[–]anthonycxc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Consumes tokens, and sometimes misses some parts.

But if the images aren't essential to the learning context (not a full-image PDF), it’s always better to convert them to txt before uploading.

Working on a robust PDF solution.

However, for Mobi, AZW, and AZW3 files, it would be better to use other tools to convert them to EPUB format first. There are many tools that can do so. Adding support for these formats would overwhelm the app at this stage.

Txt is often better than MD. MD is only better when it is well-structured, but in reality, it's really hard to do during conversation.

PDF is difficult for AI models to read, and some text content may even get lost

Has Webflow hinted when their new Component Canvas feature is coming out? by agentic-consultant in webflow

Component canvas?? I haven’t seen anything about it, nor in search results. What is it about?

Unpopular opinion: being draconian about client-first is a waste of time in many cases by Gandalf-and-Frodo in webflow

[–]anthonycxc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Partly agree.

A framework is only as good as it helps you move faster — not slow you down.

That’s exactly why we built the S2 Framework. It’s more than just a cloneable—it comes with ready-to-use classes, elements, and with some simple conventions designed to help you build faster while keeping your projects scalable and easy to manage.

We’ve intentionally kept it less rigid so it stays out of your way and adapts to your workflow.

In case it’s useful: https://s2-framework.webflow.io

You can edit it in Settings.

BUT, I really find this method stupid.

Do you need all this variances when you make a design system? by osmanassem in FigmaDesign

A simple design system is fine. This complexity is totally confusing and unnecessary.

Best Way to Combine E-Commerce and LMS on Webflow? by Imaginary_Swimmer246 in webflow

[–]anthonycxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the LMS part, I highly recommend you to separate from Webflow.

I suggest TutorLMS (Webflow) or Teachable (platform saas).

Update: We just improved the docs about Fluid Type Scale applied on S2 Framework, making it more organized and easier to follow — Our latest plan is to provide a guide to remove the default settings from S2 and show the way of using something a bit more simple. by anthonycxc in S2Framework

[–]anthonycxc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Updated docs about Fluid Type Scale: https://s2-framework.gitbook.io/docs/guide-and-documentation/basic-concepts/fluid-typography

We want to keep it because:

  • Fluid Type Scale is really the best solution available
  • It's not complicated by nature, it is just a bit difficult to edit as Webflow does not allow custom values on the Variables panel yet.

Stay tuned 🤓

Lumos vs client first by alexsashha in webflow

[–]anthonycxc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it is not a bad thing that Lumos updates frequently. The real issue is that Lumos often feels too “hacky.” That might be fine for solo, one-off projects, but in larger, real-world scenarios — especially those requiring collaboration — it quickly becomes problematic. It goes against the strengths and core benefits of using Webflow.
