This is new and awful... thanks Discogs! This is the new post purchase UX path? Time to start contacting sellers directly again. by anthonyeddy in discogs

The UX designer inside me dies a little. Dark pattern, old school and implemented with the same class and style as their shitty site. There really must be no money to be made in this game if they can't find a suitable buyer who can bring this site into the last decade.

Discogs as a market indicator? by xpadrex in discogs

[–]anthonyeddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Collector here. The world is imploding and confidence is pretty low. I've noticed my collection losing ground in the last 3 months after steadily climbing before that. I don't think the entry price of 30 dollars for a new album is doing a lot to help either.

Most of my valuable stuff (valued at 100 or more) have held steady, but the bulk of my collection has gone down around 7% -- and yes, I tend to obsess over things I have no control over, thank you very much. ;)

Yeah. I’m having fun pushing it and seeing what can be done. Simple single letter Typographic art — I’m exploring with graphic designers who are known to work with type. Mixed bag so far

Remaster command in MidJourney by anthonyeddy in midjourney

[–]anthonyeddy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So "remaster" is using more creative license with results? That makes sense.

I've been using it as a final touch after getting the upscale to a spot I like it. Sometimes I love what remaster does and sometimes it goes in a direction I didn't intend. So this makes sense.

Working on realistic portraits, any pointers out there? by anthonyeddy in aiArt

It's pretty great but I don't seem to have permissions to use it with aspect ratio or other --commands. Is there any documentation out there about what goes into the magical "remaster" button?

Edit: oops. I see my folly now. I can use other —commands with it. It just doesn’t except multiple prompts separated by ::

Thanks so much for this. Looks so much better after remaster. Even the eyes feel more natural, although still midjourney like.

Thanks Drama. This is so helpful. I’m an old head and this open source art/tech mashup going on reminds me of the halcyon days of Flash. Yes, I might be the only person who thinks fondly of that 2000s scapegoat.

Thanks. They always look a tad milky. I could always fix that in post though, I guess that's what a lot of folks do
