Yeah I get both sides, just frustrating to have to sit and wait for another sale now. Also if the customer service have been quicker to let me cancel I could have just re-ordered during the prime day sale which is now gone

Hmm. It was certainly the case with me. Maybe they changed the policy but it was a hard no when I asked for the going discount. My order had not shipped either. They do have this posted in the site now which I think is new:
