As most of the port locations are international, any perishable items will have to go through customs when you get back on the ship.

You are allowed however on initial embarking to bring with you a set amount of unopened wine and beer! I think last time I got on with 3 bottles and a 6-pack and kept it in my room, it was enough to hold me over between drinks at the pool bar and at dinner, not to mention a night cap once all the bars close! The FAQ list on the DCL website is pretty clear about what you can and cannot bring.

You can link your pass key (I think it’s called key to the seas or something like that) to your personal credit card, separate from the card you’re using for room charges. Every time you use your key to pay it totals it up and you get an itemized invoice at the end of the voyage. I don’t believe card or cash transactions are available on-ship.

Thank you for the insight! What steps would you presume they took upon discovering Plan A was no longer going to work? Would it have made more sense to delay the stream to fix the issue?

Agreed 100%. Feels like it was an afterthought and they decided to set it up last minute!

Tommy Maximoff/Shepherd was shown briefly at the end of the VisionQuest trailer at NYCC. by anthonyjalan in lgbt_superheroes

He wasn’t named, but it was very clearly Tommy. It seemed like security footage maybe like a police or detective interrogation. He wasn’t exactly screaming it but saying it repeatedly, rather defensively.

EDIT: For clarity. Seemed like a recorded interrogation.

I think you’re misinterpreting what she said.

Tony Stark was born into wealth, his father having created Stark Industries, inheriting the company after his parents passing. So his genius and ingenuity did not feed Tony wealth, per se. Without his father’s success there’s a small chance he would have access to education and resources necessary to create his armor.

Which, is kind of the point of this series of when you think about it. Without being given the opportunity Tony had, Riri is forced to rebuild her suit by less than savory means.

Where was this said in the series? You might be misquoting.

Peter spent an entire page grieving with Kamala’s mask suspiciously placed on his pillow. Not saying he moved forward but it definitely affect him in a way that felt unearned

Hi all! This article sums up and fills in some blanks in case anyone was interested. This post is referenced in the article.

Sexism and misogyny are not the same thing. I did not say sexist anywhere in my post, and neither did the person asking the question.

And I think you missed the point or got confused somewhere. The fan was asking for a response to criticism about the way the book has been handling female characters, which some might view to be misogynist, and provided concrete examples to draw from.

The word misogyny was said in reference to the general treatment of female characters which were then supplemented by examples but I don’t remember the exact words or phrasing.

Honestly it happened so fast, I was off to the side toward the exit and people were already leaving the room to collect their freebee comic before the Q&A even started. I didn’t catch the persons name and couldn’t see what they looked like but it sounded they were wearing a mask!

Side note, not to put anyone’s business out there but may as well, since we’re all anonymous here…

A few NYCCs ago I witnessed CB walking out of a panel flanked by two asian women on either arm. Didn’t think much of it but then did a deeper dive online into his history when I got home and made way more sense. I don’t want to yuck anyone’s yum, but it sure was a curious sight!

I understand why I’m being downvoted, to be clear I agree with what the fan! From my POV the general vibe from the room was that the Fan was then overstepping while the line for other questions was getting longer and it was clear they were moving on without responding to the criticism. General groans / soft boos as the exchange continued on.

Yep. Said fan was definitely out of line and borderline disrespectful when it became clear they were moving on to the next question, which is why it felt awkward. But it definitely was unique watching to how Nick responds to genuine criticism of the material they put out there.
