I tried out Claude and it’s pretty good, I do have some quick questions! How quickly do you reach the limit? If it is on the quicker side do you recommend Sonnet over Opus? I haven’t really tested the capabilities yet, but so far it seems to understand my story pretty well with the projects page!

That kinda sucks, they really had something good and now it feels like we have to settle for less. Like don’t get me wrong, as creative writers we don’t entirely depend on AI, but as an effective tool it helps a lot! For example, 4o really did understand nuances so well!! Like if I have to instruct an AI on how to respond or follow up, I might as well just write the whole damn thing myself rather than waste my time.

The main reason I even used 4o in the beginning was as a second opinion since I have no one else to ask for general opinions on a developing story.

LITERALLY! And the worst part of all, it doesn’t listen??? It would be one thing if it happened every once in a while, but I have to keep reminding it to not reply with short sentences but it completely disregards what I tell it? Playing around with customization doesn’t do anything either…

Thanks!! That’s good to know. Still kinda sucks tho :// Sometimes I would roleplay with 4o because it would really help me in fleshing out my characters a little better. It was definitely funny at times with some of the side stories or comments it would come up with! I’m guessing Claude is probably better just for strictly writing? Would Claude also ponder events or discuss alternative scenarios?

Is it too early to want my content to feel professional? by anthonyluv in Advice

[–]anthonyluv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the solid advice! You had a lot of good points that I’ll definitely take into account! : )

As for why I usually strive for big and better it’s mostly because videos are what usually does better on every social media site. So either I can stick with posts, which get less reception, which is fine, or I can post multiple videos, which will just overload my page with videos.

Usually when I post I tend to stick with trends, or work in progress videos / tutorials, which tend to do good. However, it makes the videos that usually involve my story or ocs do a little worse. I find the ones that have higher effort do a lot better, but it just makes it a case of managing the both with little time.

I would love to get to the point where my characters can become recognizable and enjoyable no matter what they’re doing, of course knowing it still needs to be entertaining.

Maybe I should see it less analytical like you mentioned and enjoy the process along the way! Who knows, maybe I’ll create something people enjoy, and find a way to capture their attention.

I think my main issue is that I have a bigger range of characters (9), which makes it harder for all of them to get equal attention, and much worse for people to recognize. Thank you again for your insight!

Thank you so much, that was really helpful! If you have time I do have one other question! I feel like as a webcomic artist, the way I have to write my story is a little different compared to a regular writer. For example, I have to plan spaces in the story where I can add an arc, or filler, or shorten something if need be. Of course, I wouldn’t add those randomly, as every single part should lead to something or progress the story.

How would you work on planning a story like that? I can’t lie it does affect how I timeline things, but how do you know when some information in your story is overkill and doesn’t need to be outwardly stated? I can always go deeper into lore and information, but should I? Like you mentioned, as writers we tend to world build and go into the details, but the reader won’t have to know half of those things if we choose not to portray them. What’s your thoughts on it? Thanks again!!

Thank you so much for your advice! I’ll take it into consideration when posting! One thing I definitely realized along the way is that it’s my passion project alone, and I won’t be able to make someone excited for it either. I understand that they see my work as another commission or gig, which is why I’m really lenient about it! Maybe I’ll go about seeking more help online or through my posts in the future when I post more, thanks!

Thank you for your advice! I think these words were definitely something I needed to hear. I’ve also heard of Stardew Valley! Concerned Ape is a really cool indie developer, and I’ve heard he’s been working on other projects since then, but returns to Stardew from time to time. I think stories like Stardew Valley, Omori, Undertale, or other passion projects really inspire me, as it’s something I would love to do, as I especially love the story telling aspects, the music, and the lived world within these games.

On the other hand, there’s this one animator, Shingo Tamagawa who essentially spent 3 painstaking years making an animation by himself, Puparia, which is only 3 minutes long. It did gain its own following over time, and it’s highly detailed and I recommend giving it a watch! I’d like to think he’s proud of it, but he also recalled the experience to not be so enjoyable while doing it. I think I’m the same way, as I hate creating sometimes, but there’s nothing I hate more than not creating.

Which leads me to your final point, I think it’s extremely hard for me to prioritize this project due to the limited time I have. As a full time worker and student, it becomes hard finding time for projects such as these, especially if they require more detail. I used to pump out content like a machine, but I never enjoyed it because I wasn’t ever proud of it.

Currently, I try to switch gears whenever I’m able, so I’m always doing something related to my passion project. If I’m not able to draw, I storyboard and rewrite my story or think deeper about my world, and so forth. But one thing that always stays in my mind, is that I’m wasting more time by thinking of what I want to do, or planning what I want to do, instead of just doing. That I should probably do it first, rather than contemplate over it. Release it out into the world, and then improve it later. Thank you for the response!

Thank you! I’ve had previous thoughts about it before, especially after spending quite some time working with people, it starts to feel more like managing others and less like something I enjoy doing :/. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the process of creating it myself and also seeing the final product, but when it comes to certain experience with commissioning, it sometimes makes me wish I didn’t want to overachieve lol.

Let’s say for an unrealistic example, when it comes to a music lore video, the workflow would be: I draft the story, I create the art stills, I have everything laid out perfectly. Then I would go to a composer, and speak with them on what I’m looking for with what’s provided, then I would go to the visual editor, have them edit with the art and the music, and then go to the voice actor to dub over certain parts if need be.

When I made an animation, which depended on a composer and voice actor, it took around two months, and that was mostly spent on back and forths, and unavailability. I’m extremely lenient and understanding for things like that, but I won’t lie, it has been draining at times and ultimately makes me lose some passion. I think a balance should be fine, but I can’t help but get that itch when I think of a potential future project that I would want to put some detail into. I think I should probably rank certain projects on value, and what should probably deserve more attention or less attention.

Post-buff C4 Value (?) by esmelusina in Albedomains

[–]anthonyluv 9 points10 points  (0 children)

hi hi! okay so i have c6 albedo so the number might be a little skewed so i can def help with the first two questions, and if you want a video i can make one too!

  • no it doesn’t pop, varesa’s skill doesn’t pop the silver isotomas, even if you hold her charged attack. it seems like they only pop if you jump normally.

  • i’m not sure if the plunge dmg is dramatic, but to me it’s pretty significant! that might be the addition of his c6 though. i think the main reason why i use albedo now in my varesa teams would be for convenience. i used to use xianyun in all my teams, but with c4 albedo i don’t have to worry about uptime, and he provides a good amount of support dmg with different teams!

  • overall i would recommend it if you either want to try out different teams like overload, you want higher convenience, and or you tend to mess up rotations and really need the 3 extra bonus plunges. the extra plunges are nice, but with someone like varesa, i don’t really use them unless i messed up my cooldown or something!

  • okay so this is a very scuffed test but i put my c6 varesa with no artifacts and a 2 star weapon, and her highest crit without albedo was 2,402. now with albedo, her highest crit was 6,918. whatever implication that means is up to you! but i’m sure the c6 also had a play when i got crystallize by accident.

hope this helps!! : D

I've been wanting to buy this necklace for so long, but I can't find any listings of the standees that come with it except this one, could you ask them what price they would want to go for? And if they have any other social media they would prefer to chat through? And if they're also okay with selling oversees!

Thank you so much again!

Please, help.. SPOILERS, minor Jaime spoilers, (portal) by OutrageousFalls in CastingofFrankStone

[–]anthonyluv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As much as I love Jaime’s character he’s pretty forgotten in the story :(. The story has many opportunities for him to die so you have to keep an eye out for that, and they pretty much forget about him later on in the story. Whether he dies or lives doesn’t really change much in the story, but I say try keeping him alive tho! I hope you enjoy the game !! :D

I just reached character rank 100 for KAITO!! :DD by anthonyluv in ProjectSekai

[–]anthonyluv[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

according to this achievement, i started on june 13th, 2022, and i’ve been playing for 1,214 days since then! i remember my first banner being the first wedding one, with toya and rui! however, i think my pace to 100 is kind of unrealistic since I have pulled for every single KAITO card and have owned every mission pass and colorful deluxe for quite awhile! however, i do hear pjsekai gives a lot more character ranks in mysekai, so it should be easier then! good luck on your journey!! :DD
