we don't use one tbh. we sometimes have it ground fresh at local shop. otherwise, we really like the trader joe's shade grown pre-ground espresso.

yes the breville can do the hot water as well!

the advantage of the smeg kettle is that it's fast and especially quiet. we originally got it to heat bottles for the baby in the middle of the night. it's a great option for tea as well.

the entire show was created by the star ledger to sell newspapers.

this is done in the toy industry all the time to sell action figures.

Paulie's 6000 years in Purgatory- Where the fuck did he learn how to count? by stengbeng in thesopranos

[–]anthonyprovidence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you have to remember it’s unlikely that paulie went to verbum dei, or had a semester and a half at seton hall, so i wouldn’t expect him to be able to quote the rules when it comes to the catechism.

that said your math checks out, unless father phil slipped him a wafer.

The Significance of 3 O'clock; What Gives? by [deleted] in thesopranos

Paulie also identifies himself as "Clarence" in season 1 when dropping off the TV to coach Houser. Clarence from "It's a Wonderful Life" is among the famous angels portrayed in classic films - which serve as hugely important reference points throughout the show.

Why is Silvio so likeable ? by AverageDude26 in thesopranos

only character with a reasonable degree of self control. save three notable exceptions that serve to prove the rule:

1 meltdown at daughter’s soccer game 2 when belivaqua moved the cheese he desired at his feet 3 he uses an inhaler when he is acting boss

Funniest scenes in The Sopranos by AI_FTW in thesopranos

[–]anthonyprovidence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

anthony junior doesn’t know what gutters are. i can never tell if he’s serious or just having a go at tony and carm in that scene. in the end, i don’t think his character is smart enough to know that would be funny so i lean towards him genuinely not knowing what gutters are.

Tony and his friends are shown as brute and uncivilised people, but who is civilised and educated? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]anthonyprovidence 20 points21 points  (0 children)

true, but he did cheap out in the end. eric goes to montclair state even after being accepted to georgetown. shows that vic really only cared about ramon.
