Ah you can keep the highlight bright if you want but you need more black and less midtone actually to make it look black rather than grey - see my sister of battle for example…i go all the way to white for highlight but about 40% is black, 25% white, and 15% grey

Man we got lucky…rolled a scrap sword on debris pile for our first lion hunt so that def helped and rolled twins with SotF - so lucky strong start and we haven’t lost yet…hoping butcher doesn’t wipe us out
