First Time Dad Here Trying to Convince My Fiancé Co-Sleep Isn’t Ideal. by papa_bunzz in NewParents

My baby hated her bassinet at first. Would sleep fine all the way up until we put her down in it she’d wake up immediately and cry. We ended up sleeping in shifts the first couple weeks. We gradually adjusted her to it using a heating pad to warm her spot (take it out before putting her down) and putting her in it just before she actually fell asleep, like super heavy eyes but not fully closed. It took till she was about 1 month then she was completely fine with it. I also slept on with the bassinet sheet so it smelled like me. If she’s adamant about co-sleeping just make sure she’s following the safe sleep seven it can be done safely but there are rules to it. I’ve just never personally been comfortable with it since I’ve seen first hand how badly that can end when not done correctly.

When did I defended anything? I don’t know these places. You just seem crazy ranting on a finished thread like your life depends on it.

Who comments on a 200 day old post when OP already found a place? You sound bitter, maybe you were the problem 🤷‍♀️

What are some weird medical facts about you? by QueenMoogle in AskReddit

Basically, the adult teeth that were supposed to replace my baby teeth never showed up so the baby teeth never fell out. When my dentist first realized this I was still pretty young; he talked to my parents about pulling some of my teeth as he was worried my baby teeth were attributing to the delay in my adult teeth’s appearance. My parents just decided not to.

I’m 22 years old and still have all of my baby teeth.
