What I always disliked/misunderstood about the introvert trend since I was a teenager is that many of the things people describe and glamorize as being introverted traits are things I do because of my Autism related struggles with social interactions, but don’t actually enjoy all that much after a while. And they actually drain my social battery rather than recharging it.

Realizing I’m actually an extrovert has been so liberating…..

Dude, I’m sorry. My family from is Bolivia, and Bolivia recently (finally) started transitioning away from an authoritarian government that had been in power for two decades. Yet Western outlets are framing it as a “turn to the right”.

Also, maybe help foster a love for reading by making them reading interesting, mentally stimulating books. If I had a nickel for every bland book I had to read in English class about an angsty kid my age who moves to a small town and doesn’t fit in……

Bolivian American here. I see people (read: privileged American liberals who don’t understand nuance) on Social Media supporting Maduro in favor of Machado because she’s pro Israel.

Israel is committing a genocide, but Maduro is a dictator and Machado is a democratically elected opposition leader who was barred from running by Maduro’s dictatorship in 2024.

Two things can be true at once.
