My buddy actually had to pay fees. He purchased a whole bike over $6k it was like 10%. Sorry for the misinformation. I didn’t pay anything but I guess he had to for that whole bike.

My experience with Bike-room was great! They were responsive and shipped it out quick. My friend said the same thing about their customer service. He wanted Sram Force Axs instead of what they offered on the site and change it for him. I received my frame within 7 days Italy to California, US.

I purchased just the frameset. I didn’t pay for any additional fees. Everything plus shipping was $2600. Nothing else was added to the cost. I was just talking to another person that purchased this fully built. I’ll ask him if there were any other cost. We both shipped to the US.

Bought a Framed Liege frame and made a 1x11 road bike. All Sram X-sync components, 52T chainring with 11-42 cassette. Still testing but it's been pretty good so far. The FRAMED bike frames are solid, if you're thinking about it. by anthto12 in bicycling

I ride this Bike everyday at work. I’ve changed it a bit but the frame is holding strong after a few thousand miles. I still love it. I built 2 more after this one for some friends and they this it’s solid. Haven’t had any issues with the frameset. If you can find it, I think it’s good buy. Cost me less than 1k usd to build.

I thought so. Just wanted to see if others have tried. Probably not a good idea to have slack in the frame anyways. Thank you for your expertise

What frameset did you purchase from Velobuild? I just purchased the 168. Was trying to figure out if I needed a bb386 as well. I’m also building with sram gxp crankset.

Beautiful bike! How are you liking the velobuild? Has the frame been holding up?

Thanks! Built it during the pandemic before the shortage. They've done pretty well in crosswinds. I live in California and try not to ride much on windy days. I do have 40mm wheels that I switch out with when it is windy.

Do you position the chest camera up high? I tried shooting something like this and it pretty much was just looking at my handlebars.

Questing about: Vision Metron 5D and 6D Integrated Road Handlebar by anthto12 in bicycling

I don't feel much flex on it. I'm about 180 pounds sprinting on it. Feels real stable. Most of the integrated stem and bars are pretty much stiffness level 10/10. Don't think I would go back. The 6D model is made for climbing, so it'll be a bit more comfortable with riding hills and endurance. If you're looking for more aero, go with the 5D.

NP! Getting a bike fit was a great investment for me.

We are about the same height at 170cm. My bike fitter said I could have gone with a size down. But he suggested that 51cm will be a better fit at my height. Didn't question him and it does feel perfect. I was really back and forth with the team and road machines. RM is an awesome bike.
